I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meIt took some coaxing but they finally made good on the refunds

The customers item was mailed to his shipping address, which is in Spain.  The item was held up at customs in Spain and eventually returned to us.   The customer was issued a full refund for the items he ordered on March 26th. ...

An additional refund was done on April 9th to compensate the for the full shipping he paid.   We have been in touch with the customer and he received a notice from Spanish Customs on March 6th stating it was rejected as non-compliant for importation.   His country will not allow us to ship his desired order to him.  We have no control over other countries custom procedures as they can continually change.  At this point the customer has been refunded every dollar.  This is not a matter of not wanting to offer our service as we even contacted the International Mail several times.  The customs in Spain will simply not accept the items the customer wants to purchase into their country, regardless of who the company is.   My only suggestion for the customer is to locate a company in Spain that can supply the items.     Thank you

Review: I placed an order with The CPAP Shop on 8 December 2014 requesting the item be delivered to my overseas address. According to the company's website, using the USPS shipping option should have resulted in the delivery taking 3-5 days. After more than 3 months, the item was not received. While the business did attempt to provide tracking assistance, through the USPS, it is clear they were unaware of the inability of the USPS to fulfill delivery shipments overseas with certainty. The item sat in Spanish customs for over two months and, in the end, was rejected for import. The Spanish postal system said they would return the item to the vendor but I have no way of confirming that. I have submitted a total of 7 follow-up complaints with the company. My last two e-mails to the vendor, complaining about the situation, have gone unanswered. I believe the business is willfully offering services they cannot guarantee. At this point, I have had to bear the financial risk of this transaction for more than three months. I believe it's time, and only fair, that The CPAP Shop bear the risk from this point forward.Desired Settlement: The CPAP Shop refund the $232.00 I paid for the item and the $55.00 I paid in shipping. Also, if it is within the purview of your agency, I recommend you encourage the vendor to modify their stated shipping policy to accurately reflect their capabilities and, more importantly, limitations. In my case, had I been better advised by their policy, I most certainly would have made a different buying decision.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. It took some coaxing but they finally made good on the refunds.

Regards,

First order, was supposed to arrive days ago. The customer service ( or lack of ) enforces the idea that I'll never purchase from them again
