Review: The Cruise Outlet's address is not [redacted]. It's [redacted]. I think theyre working out of the owner's home. The first sign of trouble was when I tried to drop by their office, & [redacted] said theyre not set up for retail business, so they would mail me everything. I emailed them to find out when my final payment was due, & an employee named [redacted] told me to look it up myself on the documents they had mailed me. I immediately called [redacted] (I think hes the owner) to complain about this terrible customer service. He apologized & said that he would personally handle my account from then on. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that [redacted] only checks his email once a week. My choices were to either email [redacted] & receive a rude, disrespectful reply, or email [redacted] & wait a week to hear back. In this day & age, what business only checks its email once a week? My guess (although I don't know) is that this is a down & out family business run out of [redacted] home. [redacted] must be his son, because I can't believe that someone so rude & incompetent could be employed otherwise. In addition, I had accumulated cruise points through my [redacted] card, & The Cruise Outlet didn't know how to redeem them. They bragged about how they're in daily contact with [redacted]; but when it came time to redeem my cruise points, they didn't have a clue what to do. [redacted] told me it was my responsibility to redeem the points & forward all the paperwork to The Cruise Outlet for processing. Once again, I called [redacted] & complained, & he admitted that they had never redeemed cruise points before. [redacted] (or someone) finally figured out what to do, & my cruise points finally got redeemed after I complained. [redacted] also promised me a $300 coupon book to use on-board, & instructions on how to get to the cruise line's dedicated parking lot with a complimentary shuttle to the port. I have not received any of this, & my family's cruise is only 2 weeks away. If I can save even one person the frustration of dealing with this unprofessional, incompetent company, the effort I put into registering this complaint with the Revdex.com will be worth it.Desired Settlement: I would like the $300 coupon book(s) I was promised as well as the detailed driving instructions to [redacted] dedicated parking lot with complimentary shuttle (cruise port = [redacted]). I would also like a full refund of all cruise payments so that my family receives this graduation cruise free of charge.
