Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
In response to owner of House to Home in Mukwonago, *** ***’s message
Enclosed please find attached ‘Contract’ that is NOT dated and has NO defined parameters This ‘Contract’ is not dated, so I do not put any stock in the business’ claims to date(s.) There is also no written and was no verbal discussion about their ’Policy’ as the owner claims… other than the verbal expression that lowering the prices, would afford me more time to sell the pieceThe contract was signed by a *** *** (forgive any misspelling) who is no longer an employee of House to HomeI was unable to contact the business as their business number ###-###-#### has been disconnected for quite some timeUp until the phone number being disconnected, I was unable to reach anyone at this business, nor did I receive call back when trying to speak with them about picking up my piece or finding out if it soldWhen I took the piece in, *** was excited about the bed, as that same day, they sold the matching desk to a customerIf the quality was so bad as the owner indicates, why did they take the piece, why do they still have it and why will she not return it to me? I had lowered the price times and time, my husband and I came to the store personally, as no one had called us back when we tried to lower the price. When we first brought the bed in, we noticed that the store had higher price points in the store and *** had recommended the $starting price to see how it would fare. I had originally paid $for this bed at This End Up Furniture store in Mayfair, ti is solid Yellow Pine from the Carolina’s and the mattress is only years old and has always had a plastic, zippered cover on it
I had gotten a hold of the owner in a roundabout wayI went to the store and they were closedI went across the street to the Gas Station called Marathon and asked the person working the desk if they know if the store was closed, as there is a Rental Lease sign on the fence and the telephone number for the business has been disconnected. The gas station employee told me that a lot of people had been inquiring about the same thing and equally concerned about their consignment items as wellI called the number to lease the building and got a hold of the land owner Mr*** *** (possible spelling error) and he said that he was also trying to get a hold of her and gave me a cell phone number to try and reach herHe also asked me to let him know if I reached her at this numberI did call him back later and let him know that I did indeed here back from her and that she was horrific on the phoneI told him to look up her Facebook, as she was claiming that he did not heat the building and other slanderous commentsShe told me she was relocating and the owner did not even know about itI don’t know if she is being evicted or not, as the building has the rent/lease sign on it, her number is disconnected and he can’t reach herHe was careful not to say anything about it, as he could be sued for liableI told him to contact me if she was evicted as I still want my furniture or my money and that I was interested in joining any Class A lawsuits against her
I left *** *** a message on her cell number ###-###-####I told her that I wanted to resolve the matter amicably and that I wanted to avoid Small Claims Court and or hiring an attorneyThis is the threat that she says I threatened her withThis is not a threat, this is an honest statement that I made to avoid any future troubleWhen she called me back, she was yelling and screaming at me and did not allow me to say hardly anything, which I find very troublingI feel that she is a bully and she thinks that she can intimidate people from pursing legal action by acting hostileShe threatened me that she would sell the bed for $and give me $ I looked her up on the Circuit Court website and was blown away at the entries I read. I question her moral character and ethics, I am not surprised that I am having difficulty with herI see that she already has an ‘F’ rating on the Revdex.com WebsiteI am unable to pursue the Mukwonago Chamber of Commerce, as she is not a member of it
I could go on and on, but I think you get the general drift of my complaintI can’t believe she wants me to pay storage for $a month when she has not been available… is she trying to pay off her debts because she is in trouble? I think the worst part of all of this is that is her response to you, she says that she is due an apologyIn the most courteous way possible, I would like to respond with…she had better not hold her breath waiting for my apology
This matter is not settled to my satisfactionI want $x 60% consignment fee = $due to me or my bed back…in its original formPlease see some Reviews below from her Facebook page

The contract does have a date on it, The contract does have 90 days on it and there was verbal communication. The desk did NOT sell the same day. There is NO heat in the building. Bottom line, this woman did NOT receive a check because her item did NOT sell. She did NOT worry about the piece until Jan, 0f 15, way past her pick up date, she threatened me verbally and said much more than she has stated. It can go on and on w/ her emotions and threats. A contract is a contract. We are a business which is still new and are not and probably will not ever be perfect. Nothing or no one is! I have very happy consignors, and customers. And know that there will always be a few sour grapes. I am a very reasonable, level headed woman, sometimes a bit naïve. Business is business. She signed a contract, we lived up to our end, we followed the contract. Her 90 +7 day grace period expired. she did nothing until January. Her loss, I am sorry perhaps she should not have taken the contract seriously. All the other comments have nothing to do w/ her contract! Nor are her business. She also failed to reply w/ in her time period to the Revdex.com. For the record, it was a business decision to eliminate the phone, and used cell phone method, the for rent signs are there because there are other buildings for rent on the property. I will refrain my personal comments, as this is a business matter.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Store owner

On August 4th, 2014 [redacted] brought in a very dated, pine bed w/ an old serta mattress assumably 15 yrs in age. Expecting to get $300.00 dollars for this piece. The employee did take the piece in, and had [redacted] sign a contract. On the contract and verbally [redacted] was told that consignment...

pieces would be up for sale for 90 days. after every 30, the pieces would be lowered in price and that if the furniture was not picked up w/in a week after the 90 days the furniture became the property of house to HOME. When I (the owner) returned to my shop I saw this pine bed marked at $300.00 and asked my employee to call [redacted] as this old bed, just like one that I purchased for my son 24 years ago for $100.00 from a garage sale, was way over priced and that she needed to pick it up or allow us to lower the bed right away. She had us lower bed. House to home did NOT hear from [redacted] for 4 months. Her Contract was up Nov 4th 2014, w a grace period of 7 days to pick up her belongings. She NEVER did, and we were open 6 days a week, 8 hours a day. I have employee hours to prove that. On January 6th 2015, we were also at the shop from 11am until 6:15pm. In a building w/ very little heat. Apparently [redacted] showed up at 1900 hrs expecting us to be there. We were not as the store was closed. She then proceeded to leave my cell phone a threating message, and Also assumed The business was stealing her money. Ist off, her bed NEVER sold during her 90 day contract that she signed that I do have a copy of, Nor did it sell in the 7 day grace period. After the 90 + 7 days, the property becomes that of house to home. This is a woman that showed up after 5 months demanding money or her bed. A contract is a contract. [redacted] signed the contract, dated August 4th 2014. We did not sell her bed in the 90 days, [redacted] did not come to retrieve her bed. She accused us on face book of stealing from her, which I would appreciate an apology. The bed is still in the shop, for proof that it has not sold, and we did not steal her money. The bed is house to homes. Now if she would like to pay house to home a storage fee of $50.00 a month, from Nov.4th 2014 until todays date, we would be more than happy to release her from her contract.
