11, Since my complaint to the Revdex.com, *** the owner of the establishment, has agreed to cover the outstanding vet bill, which we felt she was responsible for since our dog was injured during her employee's careI would like to retract my complaint if possible and appreciate your time and looking into this matter for meShe has since apologized and after speaking with our vet has agreed to settle this responsibly

Review: I did not have any issues with The Dawg House the 1st time [redacted] spent a few days there a couple of years ago. However, I left him there for doggie day care for 4 hours yesterday and when we got home [redacted] was having pain in his left ear and started yelping/crying. This morning his ear was swollen with "welps" all over the inside of his ear. I took him to his vet this morning and was told [redacted] had been bitten by another animal and now has a severe infection. I was NOT advised of any injuries when I picked [redacted] up from The Dawg House and paid the charge for the day care service. He has small pieces of skin tissue hanging out of his left ear, it is swollen and inflammed, his left cheek on the inside is red and swollen, he keeps hanging his head down and yelping/crying a lot. The vet could not look inside his ear b/c it was too inflammed and painful to be touched. A shot was given along with some antibiotics and pain pills and I am to bring him back to be seen in a few days so the Dr can try to see inside his ear for any further damage. I immediately called for the owner of The Dawg House and even though [redacted] was apologetic she states they will not cover the full vet bill even though our dog was injured during their care and he wouldn't be going through this if it weren't for the dog at their facility (and their negligence) that bit my dog. We only asked what was fair, to refund and to pay the vet bill, yet they still say no. "Playful" bites do not leave hanging tissue, sever pain and inflammation. [redacted] is the sweetest and most lovable rescue dogs and everyone who meets him loves him. He is an absolute lovable mush and gets along well with everyone and other animals. If The Dawg House does not hold up to their responsibility they will leave us to no choice but to take them to court. P.S. no contract was signed to waive any possible injuries.Desired Settlement: We are only asking for a refund of their services and for the vet bills to be paid in full by them for their negligence. The doggie day care service was for $20 and the present vet bill is $218.31. There will be more vet bills since the Dr was unable to examine inside my dog's ear due to severe inflammation and pain to the touch. We were asked to return in a few days after the inflammation subsides enough to be able to examine for further damages.
