The Deck Doctor did a fantastic job with all of our projects Initially we only had a deck project in mind, but that went so well we decided to have our basement refinished too! Currently working on a 3rd project and we're excited for the final productAll of the projects have been on time and on budget The crew cleaned up at the end of each day, so there was no mess to deal with They worked closely with us on the design of each project and offered several ideas that we did not think about Overall, I couldn't be happier with all of the projects

We contracted *** and RBM to build our deck *** was very eager to work with us to figure out the best plan given our space and monetary constraints We had talked to over a dozen contractors, and *** had the best plan and cost for what we wanted Overall we are very satisfied with the work they did: the deck is beautiful (neighbors keep gushing about it), it is sturdy as can be, and a great use of the spaceThe team also helped us with random projects (see below) The work was all high quality, and very reasonable relative to the costs There were a couple of hiccups and disagreements throughout the process, but we were able to work them all out We would definitely recommend working with these guysBelow are more specific details:
The cost of the deck was divided into materials and a set labor fee for RBM After much shopping around, this was the cheapest situation we could find without sacrificing quality Also *** was very knowledgeable and flexible in helping us pick the right plan for our space In fact, the design we ended up with would not have been possible/affordable with any of the other contractors we talked toOne of the biggest issues we had was that *** had underquoted the material costs by a decent margin (~1200) He was very apologetic and it was clear that it was an “honest mistake” But nonetheless, we were not too happy about this There was some initial tension over how to deal with it, but eventually we reached an agreement whereby they would help with some additional projects we wanted without charging labor (only materials) Through this agreement we were able to: get a utility sink installed in the basement, install wainscoating in the bathroom, add lights and outlets to the basement, and install a faucet on the deck Finally, they custom fitted a fire pit and ran a gas line through the house and onto the deck, meaning we now have a fire pit that turns on with a key! The quality of all these projects was first rate, and it really helped to get these projects taken care of Overall, we are very happy with the compensation for the misquoted materialsIt should also be noted that *** had to deal with the *** inspector, who is notoriously specific and picky The consequence of this was that *** had to use 6xposts instead of the standard 4x4, which involved renting an additional piece of equipment (and likely other costs) We were very happy that *** did not pass those costs on to us, and still pushed on with the projectOne last thought about the composite material we used on the deck We really like it, but one downside that we were unaware of is that it is often wet That is, the dew and rain doesn’t soak into the material, so in the mornings there is usually standing droplets on the deck It’s not a big deal at all, but something that others might want to consider when choosing their material

RBM Enterprises has done work me both on the interior and exterior of my home to include carpentry, painting and deck maintenance I would not hesitate to call hi again for future work that I need to be done I was very pleased with the outcome and he was both professional and easy to work with!

The Deck Doctor seemed like the logical solution to fix our sagging deck steps *** came out, looked at our deck, and gave what seemed to be a pretty honest estimate, with the caveat that he didn't know what he would find (which we understood) The guys who did the work were professional and communicated clearly The sagging steps were fixed and feel and look much better Our only issue is that it took a couple months for the work to be completed - but that is because they have so much work

Everything from the demolition and removal of my old deck, to the new one's completion was handled at an extremely professional level. [redacted] and his crew were personable as well as knowledgable. Even consulting me on the best layout and materials that would fit my personal needs. It took 2 and a half short days to remove the old decking and complete my new one. You could literally park a mini van on my new deck !!!! These guys are great to work with. I'm a customer for life!

We hired Rick and crew designed and built us a large composite deck last summer. They also installed a drainage system underneath so that we could utilize the large patio rain or shine. Additionally they cleaned and sealed our patio around the pool and beneath the deck. Rick was very helpful and willing to work with us. He offered up many wonderful suggestions with regard to the layout and even some cost saving options. His pricing was competitive and he was very upfront about the potential for unforeseen costs since we were still undecided about some of the finishes, and a portion of the project was a remodel. Because of the size of this project, we knew that our backyard would be a construction site for quite a while. Julio and the crew were extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. They were also very respectful of our home and family. We couldn’t be happier with the final product. We enjoyed every remaining moment of the summer using our new space. We love showing off our amazing deck and continue to receive compliments. We’ve already created many lasting memories with our family and friends and look forward to the return of nice weather, so we can get back out there.

We hired [redacted] and his crew to do major renovations on our home,[redacted] and his crew did an amazing job on our home. We needed siding , front porch repairs , sheetrock [redacted] came up with the best solutions to work within our budget without sidestepping anything,paid attention to every last detail.I cant say enough about [redacted] and his crew they were here every day until the job was complete and we were satisfied. In todays world of shady contracters which I have had and RBM had to correct,I have complete confidence in his work , and because he cares I would definitely hire him again.

Let me start off by saying that I am an individual who pays close attention to detail...all the detail! Working with the Deck Doctor was hands down the most enjoyable experience I have ever had working with a contractor. I flipped houses for 10 years and have worked with many independents and I can tell you that there are more bad than good ones out there. The Deck Doctor and his team are in a class all by themselves.....they are GREAT!! I had to replace a very large elevated deck that ran the full length of the back of my house and upon meeting Rick (The Owner and the Deck Doctor)I immediatly threw him the business. He was professional and courtious from start to finish and his team was timely, hardworking and polite. The Deck Doctor holds his people/workers to a very high stardard and let me tell you it shows when the work is completed. My Deck looks amazing and my wife likes me again so all is good!! I can't stress enough....don't hesitate....you need a new deck....Call the Doctor!!
