Dear claimsPlease contact me directly and I will be happy to defend this complaint This customer is a clear case of over extending her budget after the fact and having buyers remorse.She called me a month later after paying in full for all items and completion of painting and carpeting installation crying that she spent her grand daughters inheritance At no time on Feb when she ordered her custom ordered pieces and paid in full for her purchase with a check and a signed signature on invoice did I have any suspicions that she the customer was anything but happy and excited to redecorate her home I do high end custom design and budgets of that amount are very common in my store as I do full scale design furniture sales and redecoratingI was paid in full by customer and I have the emails between us of my trying to appease her and work with her but it is clear she is making things up to suit her remorse of over spending a budget I was clearly told no problem this is what I want to spend and I have it to spend on this project She even added more items in March to her order and she paid me in fullThis is not the actions of a dissatisfied customer.I will share all communications with you and I have the invoice of payment in full and signed signature where all special orders cannot be cancelled I special order everything for my clients and I am the exclusive dealer for Thomasville furniture in Montana The carpet owner of the store will also tell you he spoke to Elaine and she appeared satisfiedThe painter same thingI am looking forward to your help as this is a clear case of a buyer pretending to be done wrong when in fact it is herself that over spent her budget and is trying to blame others my phone is [redacted] Thank you I look forward to your help in this matterI didn't want to attach customers invoices until you contacted me with a secure method of sharing this information.Sincerely Robin M***/Owner

I am rejecting the merchants response because: When the paint looked green it was argued that placement of the furniture would change the color to yellowAlso we could ad a soft white bulbThe painter, who was paid $5,repainted only the bathroom including painting the heat registerPaint oozed out when I removed the railsThe doors had been painted a gritty white without any input from meAs the carpet was installed I called to say it looked industrial and it was argued the furniture would change that lookI called when the installers demonstrated that the carpet would snap and unravelThe carpet man argued that the carpet was good for pets and would not unravelA different carpet salesperson said the carpet was not good for petsI demonstrated the unravelingA pillow intended for a chair was filled with off cover foam and hobby grade fiber fill and the pillow sags When the shelves did not fit the alcove I objected to having the legs sawed offThe mistake in the measuring was attributed to me whereas one would think that is the decorator's jobA curio cabinet has two glass sides and a glass doorShelves are glass and the back is a mirror. The back end of any objects and the face of the onlooker are distorted and shadowyA little table is overwhelmed by the chair where it is meant to setThe "cube" table has a huge electric cord on the back and a minuscule note stating how the table is a danger to children and how to attach it to the wallThe cube is put forth as a computer table but is too small and too short for anyone to sit and use.The brown chest has five places for legs and I have now been provided with instructions as how to obtain legs for me to place. The Decorating House has very few "items" on the floor to sell so any and all items are orderedUpholstered items can be considered special order. My shock and impetus to contact Revdex.com is the $charge for the painter and $for the carpet.The decorator was trusted as a professional and it seems my faith was placed in errorsI am requesting the shelving, the curio cabinet, the two tables be returned to the store and the costs refundedI am asking that the costs of the painter and the carpet be refunded"She said/she said" is a weak way to proceedI have tried to avoid such language. I will continue to review items more closely than usualIn the interim I do not want the shelving in my home and I ask that the curio, cube table, and small barrell be returned and money refunded

I am rejecting this response because: The response addresses my complaint by remarking about my personal situationProfessional attention to the customer's concerns has not been submittedThe fact that the carpet unravels--photos available, the painting was poorly done with little attention to detail leaving splatter on furniture and floors--photos available, shelving scratched on the top when pushing it into an area already acknowledged as being too small--these facts were not addressed by the business owner.A pillow cushion was poorly constructed and made acceptable only after my compliantBecause the intended yellow color appearing as green the business had the painter return and repaint one small room in a different colorOne of his comments was "At least I don't have to repaint the whole damn house over." The paint in the bathroom covered the heat register and was was addressed only after my commentsThe "repainted" parts of the heat register were dropped in the room wrapped in black garbage sacks without my receiving any information that the parts were thereOne sack held an empty spray can of white spray paint for me to finish painting the top of the register that would have to be removed from the wall where it was mounted with screws-photos availableThe business owner charged $for painting and $for carpeting with no itemization or warranty provided until specifically requestedEfforts to discuss the paint color were met with argument bout how the placement of new furniture and possibly soft white light bulb would improve with furnitureThe concern about the carpet was dismissed by the business owner and had the store manager from the business where the carpet was purchased call meThey said that the carpet was designed for heavy use, pets and the in and out out from the yardAn independent carper specialist said the carpet while good quality was specifically not designed for a home with petsThe mirror on the back of the curio cabinet reflects the back of any item place on the shelves and all items in front of the cabinet, just as any mirror wouldNothing in the cabinet can be seen clearly because of mirror.I feel that my concerns, complainants and requests were met with argumentI am requesting at a minimum full or partial rebate of $for the price of the carpet because of the unraveling; partial or full return for the $cost of the painting because of the splatter, painting of the doors and the bathroom heat register; partial or full refund for the cost of the curio cabinet. I would be willing to address the amount of the refund if the cabinet is removed. I don't think my emotional state, my personal attitude or lack of discretion should have any bearing on resolution on the complaintThe carpet is unraveling and was not intended for households with pets, the painting throughout appears to be indifferent, the shelves were scratched and show marks which appear to be from straps with buckles, perhaps used during moving, the curio cabinet is of no use because of the mirror at the back of the piece prevents anyone seeing items placed on the shelves. I feel my concerns are valid and have been voiced separately from my emotional state

Dear Tell us why here... I have delivered all items to the customer and she was friendly and appreciative . She also told my staff member she liked everything.  I believe this customer has other stress factors going on in her life.  I wish her well and actually really like her.  The job is complete and all done and paid for.  I am thank ful and I wish Elaine well as the items in her home are lovely and perfectly appointed for her home. I will not be doing any refunds and when in her home Elaine was friendly and in a good mood. I brought along 3 other  delivery and staff member who witnessed the items in her home and the happiness of customer when we left Robin Miller
