I contacted the customer in regards to his Dish services being terminatedI offered to help with his account so that he could avoid any fees with Dish Network and our companyI am actively reaching out to any one that terminates to see why and help them to resolve any of their issuesI spend a lot of time with customer's helping to get their bill reduced or have any other issues taken care ofI always seek a resolution to keeping the account active but this particular customer refusedI explained to him that if he does cancel early there is a one time fee that goes towards the original installationTechnically this is labeled as a processing feeThis fee is definitely not fraudulent and I am always willing to work with peopleUnfortunately the customer felt that because he has worked for another retailer that he knew our policiesI explained to him that I can go over the signed contract but the customer refused this option as well

***,I am really sorry for the misunderstandingAs a retailer we are paid for activating customersIf a customer deactivates the money paid to us to cover the cost of install, gets taken awaySadly this is hard to do business when you lose money. Are goal is to keep customer happy and active with there serviceThe extra benefits you get by using a retailer is we are just down the street and if you are having a problem we can come right over. I am really sorry that this did not work out for youIf you ever would like to come back and get Dish or DirecTV. Please call us and reference this and I will refund the $to you. First off I paid the termination fee through DISH NETWORK DIRECTLY and they assured me no more fees are due in any capacityActively reaching out? If you would like to reinstate the service I will be happy to refund the fee. The agreement you signed at the time of installation clearly states that if you cancel the contract within the 24 month time period, you have to pay the processing fee, which is $49.99.  We are only following the terms of the contract which were in place from the very beginning. We are a Dish Network RETAILER and are completely separate from the corporate office. Dish Network is an entirely different company and would only be able to discuss the early termination fees that would exist from Dish Network directly. Our fees are separate, and because you terminated your service early of the agreement, you are responsible to pay the one time charge. All upfront fees are waived with a 24 month agreement, and that contract was breached when you canceled early. I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this has caused.

I am rejecting this response because:  Twist the words however you want. I was "pitched" a processing fee on install and based on being a premium customer I told them I would rather call dish. Magically I didn't have to pay it. and was assured it was waived 100%!!!! Now on the back end I have to? Haha this is beyond sad... The DHA24 agreement from dish network doesn't state a processing fee actually.  I checked the website. Reinstate? Not a chance in [redacted] I will ever do business with this company every again. In fact I have personally advised many people to steer clear of them based on shady business practices. I HAVE RETURNED ALL EQUIPMENT AND PAID ALL CANCELLATION FEES DISH NETWORK REQUIRES.  There is no negotiation from me on this matter since I was assured by the sales person I had the processing fee waived during install. The employee was Andre M[redacted].
