medicalpersonnel, it was found that the care received was indeed appropriate. Sylvia M[redacted], LPN, LicensedMedical Aesthetician, has over 5 years of experience in laser treatments of this kind. The patient had aconsultation on 12/7/15 and at that time she was verbally given informed consent of risks, benefits andalternative treatments for the procedure that she requested. She was also notified that treatmentresults cannot be guaranteed. In addition, the patient signed a written consent detailing all of theabove. Photos of the proposed treatment areas were taken. On 12/8/15 she received her first KTP lasertreatment. On her post procedure visit, 1/13/16, she received an additional touch up KTP lasertreatment at no charge to her. The patient was instructed to contact us on an as needed basis if sheneeded another appointment or additional treatments.
We take feedback from our patients very seriously, as it provides an opportunity for us to review andimprove the services we provide. We will be happy to have the patient return for an additionaltreatment on the spot in questions without an additional charge should she so desire.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. In response to the letter sent by Cavalon: Silvia may have five years experience with other laser treatments, such as spider veins and acne scars. But on the initial consultation she did not inform me that she had never done work on a port wine stain birthmark. I found this out when I came for my first appointment and she had the Dr. come in to tell her how to do it. The spot mentioned was missed at first and the Dr. told her to move over a little. I think the position she is working in does not give a good view of the spot because she totally missed it again on the second treatment. When done she did not show me in a mirror, so I was very disappointed when I got home and saw it was completely missed. I come in to the clinic and tried to discuss it with her and she just turned around and walked away without a word. I felt that was very rude. I would be very happy to accept the offer to have the spot treated again and will withdraw my complaint from Revdex.com once it is done. Thank you, [redacted] phone:[redacted]
