[redacted] purchased a vehicle from The Dominion Motors on 11/11/ [redacted] wasInformed at the time that he needed to provide documentation to close his financing on the car and was given a specific list of correct items to send to us or bring in[redacted] proceeded to drive the car for one week without providing the necessary items to complete financing on the vehicle.We informed him to bring back the vehicle to prevent any repossession actions.At the time he was out of contract and did not have any intent of paying the balance for the vehicle[redacted] would not return the vehicle and would not drive down to the dealership to remedy the situationAfter many phone calls with [redacted] , The Dominion Motors agreed to pay out a lump sum to have [redacted] bring in the vehicle[redacted] signed a letter on November 25, stating that he was satisfied with his refund and voiding the contract [redacted] received the refund lAO $on 12/23/via USPS.Attached is the letter stating the initial contract was voided and [redacted] was satisfied with his refundWe ask that [redacted] rescind this complaint due to both parties already reachingan agreement in November

I am rejecting this response because: as I stated previously..ALL calls are screened and sent to faxALSO if your policy states that hold/deposits are non refundable why is it that I have dominion motors letters typed by your lead sales/ management that states they ARE refundable if asked for prior to an implied date? in any case ill be picking up the check/ refund I am owed from your location per "ryan"via txtmsg stating that its been "processed" lets just hope its a good check

I am rejecting this response because: the statement about contacting the business in reguards to questions or comments is near impossible when they are either screened and sent to fax for the computer to answer calls, or emails are left unanswered. my statements are proven by countless reviews and complaints done by other customers in the same fashion. there needs to be a resolution date to the matter and "we are processing the request" will not be adequate response to what seems to be a deliberate delay in refunding.

meet certain down payment requirements and stipulations.In some special cases our business will offer a price reduction or an agreement to fix items on the vehicle deemed necessary by the purchaser. You can find the details of these items in your AS-IS guide along with the contract. The contract is where a customer and the dealership will put all the agreements in writing including how the customer will pay for their vehicle. We stress to everyone to read their contracts carefully before signing.In this certain case, the purchasers did an extended test drive on the vehicle and had a mechanic of their choice check the vehicle for any major work needed on the vehicle. The Dominion Motors sells used vehicles, some of these vehicles are ten years old and will need maintenance to get the vehicle running to a higher standard of our customers. We also stress not to purchase a used vehicle that you are worried the maintenance will be too much time or expenses. At the time of purchase, the customers wanted compensation for some of the maintenance needed on the vehicle; though not ideal, The Dominion Motors agreed to compensate roughly $3,000.00 to cover what was needed for maintenance on the vehicle based on the information the customers' mechanic provided. The customer received their contract in full from The Dominion Motors.
