The Duplainville Clock Company Reviews (4)

I had seen the individual on Wisconsin Life, and my father was very excited to have a clock he had purchased in Germany as a young man restored; he has skills without question, but due to a misunderstanding things went sourMy father called him to rectify the situation, and he was simply refusing to be civilMy father is eighty years old, and does not need to be treated that wayI have worked in the service business, and I can say the customer is not always right, but this mans behavior was unjust, and at times quite alarmingIf you need to have work done, I would not say do not go to him, but if there are others, you may want to consider them, prior to contacting this individual, this was a very stressful experience; thankfully we did get our clock back

After recently having my home inspected by this company issues have risen since I took possession of the homeThe first noticeable thing that came up was black mold in a secondary bath along the tubThe company said they inspected the home thoroughly and ran all the baths and check everythingApparently they did't look along the bathtub because all you had to do was look down and you would see the black mold along the bath continuing behind the toiletRight there I should have known there would be more issues to come and there wasI paid additional money for them to inspect my poolThe inspector took all this pictures and detailed many things along with the pool filter cartridge leaking, BUT what he failed to take a picture of was the motor right next to it with TONS of calcium depositAfter eating the cost to make the mold situation right I filed a claim to home warrantyThey sent out two different pool companies to which both of them said this was a HUGE oversight on the home inspection companyYou can see the calcium on the motor from just looking at itAfter contacting the home inspection company, I C home Inspection, I spoke to an employee inside who state that she noticed all the calcium from the pictures I sent herThe owner didn't contact me for til days later after follow up emailsAccording the their contract it clearly states ;"Client further agrees that they company's liability for errors, omissions, and consequential damages is limited to the refund of all the fees paid and agrees to immediately accept a refund of the fees as full settlement." Not only isn't the company willing to get back to you in a timely matter to settle a situation they don't want to be held accountable for their errorBottom line I wouldn't trust this company to do another inspection for me nor would I recommend them to anyoneI paid money for them because they have the knowledge of what to look for not to find excuses of their oversightAs a reputably company he could have admitted fault that he is human and I would have been satisfied, but instead he pointed a finger at the warranty company along with stood by it was working when looked at itVERY VERY dissatisfied

After recently having my home inspected by this company issues have risen since I took possession of the home. The first noticeable thing that came up was black mold in a secondary bath along the tub. The company said they inspected the home thoroughly and ran all the baths and check everything. Apparently they did't look along the bathtub because all you had to do was look down and you would see the black mold along the bath continuing behind the toilet. Right there I should have known there would be more issues to come and there was. I paid additional money for them to inspect my pool. The inspector took all this pictures and detailed many things along with the pool filter cartridge leaking, BUT what he failed to take a picture of was the motor right next to it with TONS of calcium deposit. After eating the cost to make the mold situation right I filed a claim to home warranty. They sent out two different pool companies to which both of them said this was a HUGE oversight on the home inspection company. You can see the calcium on the motor from just looking at it. After contacting the home inspection company, I C home Inspection, I spoke to an employee inside who state that she noticed all the calcium from the pictures I sent her. The owner didn't contact me for til 3 days later after 2 follow up emails. According the their contract it clearly states ;"Client further agrees that they company's liability for errors, omissions, and consequential damages is limited to the refund of all the fees paid and agrees to immediately accept a refund of the fees as full settlement." Bottom line I wouldn't trust this company to do another inspection for me nor would I recommend them to anyone. I paid money for them because they have the knowledge of what to look for not to find excuses of their oversight. As a reputably company he could have admitted fault that he is human and I would have been satisfied, but instead he pointed a finger at the warranty company along with stood by it was working when looked at it. VERY VERY dissatisfied.
