JANUARY 30, 2017 Dear Revdex.com Representative:The resident was given several notices concerning a past due balance that had accumulated over the fall semester. After several attempts to collect the past due balance the resident was issued an official eviction notice through certified...

mail and to the resident's email. The resident decided to leave the property and did not pay the past due balance until 1/19/17. The resident did notify us that she left the property, and we proceeded to offer the resident an option to cancel the original 10 installment lease contract by paying an early termination fee. Official form was sent to the parent and resident regarding this option. After conversation and form was sent, a new resident moved into the previous student's bed space. The parent of the resident contacted our offices and informed us that she would take legal action on 1/19/17 if we did not relinquish the amount due based off section 26 in the lease contract. Our offices forwarded her concerns to our legal office for resolution on 1/23/17. After reviewing all the information, our offices have agreed that the resident is not responsible paying the remaining balance on the lease contract of $4335.00 nor pay a termination of fee. However, the resident will be responsible for a prorated amount for the 10 days the apartment was vacant per our lease contract. This amount is based off the total contract value $8450 with a per night charge of $29.55. Adjusted remaining balance is $295.50. If the previous resident has any questions, she may contact us directly.Regards,Ricardo R. Assistant General Manager

Review: This guy [redacted] has been contacting EVERYONE in the [redacted] community asking if they'd like housing, and each time we ask him to take us off his list, he does not comply. What makes it very annoying is that he has found a way to avoid our spam filters. GMail is great with my spam, and filters out most everything, but he has inserted a [redacted] tag on his email so we get it in our inbox. I have requested to be taken off his list twice now. I still get emails. The most recent email asked if we need housing. It had two options for answers:Hello, I am in the process of updating my contact records. Are you still looking for housing for the Fall Semester? Yes! I am still looking for housing. No! I am not looking for housing (Unsubscribe) Regards, [redacted] Unfortunately you can not see what the formatting of the email was like, but the Yes!... answer was a hyperlink. The No!... answer had no hyperlink, and thus no way of being unsubscribed. This guy is intentionally harassing the members of the [redacted] student body. I hope contacting the Revdex.com will help resolve this issue.Thank you for your time.Best,[redacted]Desired Settlement: Contact [redacted] and request that he cease sending emails to the TU student body, and honor their requests to be unsubscribed from a service they never subscribed to.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, so long as I (and my fellow students) never receive another solicitation from The Edge with no unsubscribe button.
