The management company at this apartment is absolutely atrociousThe standing policy seems to be tell a tenant whatever to get them out of the office then promptly throw away the tenants complaintMaintenance issues have been ongoing since I moved in months ago and still I am told they are looking into itMy washer/dryer, provided by the apartment and covered under the lease terms, broke and locked upA day and a half and two complaints later maintenance came and got the washer open for me and told me to put the sopping wet clothes in the bathtub for now and they would get me a new washer first thing in the morningThey are still sitting there and so not only are my clothes starting to grow things but I have no shower

We gave notice to the residents in building 8 that allowed them 5-6 days to move. The lease currently states that we have the ability to involuntarily move residents with a written notice of 5 days. Not only did we give sufficient notice, but we also hired professional movers to assist the residents if they chose to accept that help. Since we are a student housing complex, we rent by the bed space. [redacted] is currently renting out one bedroom in a two bedroom unit. We moved him to a larger unit that was renovated. Since he only pays for one space, we legally have the right to conduct business and make sure that we can have the other space to lease out if needed. As we are still currently in the renovation process, we have limited bed spaces available and have notified [redacted] three different times to have his belongings moved out of the vacant bed space that he is not paying for. I spoke to Mr. [redacted] on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 and told him that we would never expect him to move all of his belongings out of the vacant bed space since we are able to have professional movers assist. I told him that I understand his frustration, but I cannot turn anyone away if we need that bed space simply because his belongings are in there. I also told him, that I would do my best to not pair him with another resident, but that if needed, we would not turn anyone away. I also gave him the option of paying for both bed spaces.  why here...

We did find that our resident's A/c was not working. After June 28, we ordered the part necessary to fix the unit and placed a window unit in her apartment. This accommodation was done so that the resident would still be able to comfortably reside in her unit.  Installing a portable AC...

unit is protocol for any resident whose AC is not functioning properly/needs repair,  the window unit functions just as a normal A/C.  At no time during the period between June 28th and July 5 did the resident inform the office that her apartment was not cooling to her satisfaction. Had a complaint been made we could have installed an additional portable AC to her apartment. Management was not made aware that the resident was not residing in the unit until she called on July 5. At this time she inquired if the A/c had been fixed because she was staying out of town and had not been home to check on it.In regards to the pest control issue, this was most likely caused by the resident voluntarily vacating the unit and leaving all food and dog food in the unit. If these items were left open for an extended period of time it is possible a pest issue could arise.  Finally, the resident did reach out to me via email and I responded to her promptly on each occasion. She did reach out to my regional supervisor, who was out of the office for a majority of the time that this issue was taking place. When the regional supervisor returned, I spoke with her regarding the issue.  She instructed me to give Jessica a concession for the period between June 23 and June 28 when her A/C was not working and there was a temporary unit in her apartment.Due to management repairing the AC, providing a portable AC unit for the interim, and giving a rental concession for any inconvenience, I feel as though this issue has been resolved in an appropriate manner.
