These people (the ***'s) were very picky and this is a historic rustic Resort (years old) on a dirt road, at 7500ft in the back-country of the Central High Sierra. All pages of our website states "BACKWOODS RUSTIC RESORT." (PLUS OUR RULES UNDER RESERVATIONS) We have Bears here
Deer and many other backwoods creatures in this area..We offered to move them to another cabin but after one night they left. We do have a night minimum non-refundable deposit but due to the situation I did Issue a refund on 8-12-approval code # 010468. Much of this complaint is out of line and overboard Thanks ***

I am rejecting this response because:This is a typical response from the resort. First, we did not spend one night there. We went in the cabin and within 20 minutes we packed and couldn't find anyone in the office,store,etc, to check out if we wanted to.We left and rented a cabin at Shaver Lake. This guy has the same response to everyone -our place is "rustic". I've backpacked all over the Sierra's. I know the difference between rustic and filth. They weren't around to move us to another cabin. The original cabin they were going to put us in on check in had a water leak so they told us we would be in the one next door. Look at the attached photos: Dead,decaying mouse in the oven, damp, stained sticky carpet, mouse droppings everywhere-beds,dresser,floor, bathroom,kitchen counter,sink,oven. Sorry, but stating your elevation, the age of the resort,having bears and deer has absolutely nothing to do with their facilities being filthy. Wonder what the Fresno County Health Department would think of potential hantavirus exposure ?
