We explained to the gentleman more than once the car had been tinted beforeWe are not responsible for anything left behind by another shopThe car was used, not brand newWe are only as good as the vehicle will allow us to beThere is no such thing as a perfect tint job and I explained his several times to himHis reply was "that's what you say" I believe the customer has unrealistic expectations and I'm sorry he feels that wayAt the end of the day he was given an excellent tint job considering how much old adhesive was left behind from whoever removed the old filmThis is standard industry practice and I'm sorry if he does not understand thatI wouldn't show up at his job and tell him how to do it or that my buddy can do it betterHe was rude and really dismissive at everything I had to say to himAt that point when he was unwilling to listen to anything because he is obviously smarter than me, so I decided to walked awayI told him what we were willing to replace and to him that was not acceptableAgain, a used car that has been tinted before will rarely come out as clean as a brand new car with no previous film on it As far him paying cash Yes he was told to pay cash and he knows exactly was he was told to pay cashHis taxes are included in his priceAgain, I'm sorry he does not understand that, and he was more than happy to pay the cash for the record! I will never have an offer to redo the full car completely that is never going to be an optionI agree that the back Driver door looks awful and should have never left looking that way However the day you were in my shop showing me your complaints you were extremely insulting and let me know that I cannot do the car perfect like it should, but yet today I'm good enough to redo the car for you? This is a silly thing to go thruI'm sorry your unhappy, I really truly amI have an excellent shop with excellent reviews for a reasonThere is no such thing as a perfect tint jobThis a the real world and we work in a real world environment, there is a certain amount of debris in any tint jobThe glue in the driver back door is embarrassing to say the least and it should have never left like thatThe small gap at the top of your windows is normal, we have a computer system that cuts ALL of our film so we apply the film as the computer cuts itUsually this is a preferred way of installing filmAgain, we were not informed the car had been previously tinted so the car was cleaned and prepped for a tint job

We explained to the gentleman more than once the car had been tinted before. We are not responsible for anything left behind by another shop. The car was used, not brand new. We are only as good as the vehicle will allow us to be. There is no such thing as a perfect tint job and I...

explained his several times to him. His reply was "that's what you say"........  I believe the customer has unrealistic expectations and I'm sorry he feels that way. At the end of the day he was given an excellent tint job considering how much old adhesive was left behind from whoever removed the old film. This is standard industry practice and I'm sorry if he does not understand that. I wouldn't show up at his job and tell him how to do it or that my buddy can do it better. He was rude and really dismissive at everything I had to say to him. At that point when he was unwilling to listen to anything because he is obviously smarter than me, so I decided to walked away. I told him what we were willing to replace and to him that was not acceptable. Again, a used car that has been tinted before will rarely come out as clean as a brand new car with no previous film on it.   As far him paying cash.  Yes he was told to pay cash and he knows exactly was he was told to pay cash. His taxes are included in his price. Again, I'm sorry he does not understand that, and he was more than happy to pay the cash for the record! [redacted] M

I am rejecting this response because: These gentleman are obviously tent experts so the deficiencies I experienced after the fact they knew before and while they were tinting it. It makes sense to call me to notify me that there would be deficiencies before proceeding with the job. The day I returned to the business I did see if they would completely redo it and they felt it was a insult to the quality of their work. They stated they would not and offered to redo one window while acknowledging there were defects in the others that no tint shop would be able to avoid though I've been to several who've stated otherwise. I'm not looking for a full redo I'm looking for my money back as the full redo was not an option for the business.
