Hi ***, We are sorry that you are upset but there is no way to track the original move out statement, at this pointWhat we can do is pull your move out folder and see what contact information we had at that time thoughThe only thing we can do at this point is to try and move forward and look to resolve the issue from hereThis will take cooperation on both ends, which we are absolutely willing to doWith that being said, do you happen to have a copy of your original mochecklist? We can also use any photos from your phone so long as they are time stampedWith these, we would be happy to review your move out statement and make any needed adjustmentsLastly, could you please email your current contact information to ***@fpacific.com so that we may update our files accordingly? We look forward to your cooperation, Brentwood Lake Management

I started communicating with the management in December 2016. Rod did not become involved until Febbecause that is when he started. Not to mention the condenser STILL has not been replaced, so there is not only a large electric bill, but no resolution. I am seeking legal action at this time. This is by far the worst example of mismanagement and customer service that I have ever experienced, bar none. Not to mention that *I* had to coordinate with AEP because the maintenance staff was unwilling to get involved. They even checked the condenser before AEP and said that it was not malfunctioning. I have bills of usage and documents from AEP's engineer to verify all the facts

Hi ***,We are sorry to hear that you feel this situation has not been resolved to your satisfaction, however Brentwood Lake Apartments was made aware of the electricity issue in late February When you reached out to the Manager, Rod, he made sure to address the issue in a timely manner with
the maintenance staff, and pursuant to your lease agreement, the issue was fixed within a reasonable time frame. Should you feel that further discussion is necessary, please feel free to reach out to our Manager, Rod. Always at your service, Brentwood Lake Apartments

To whom this may concern,We are very sorry to hear of the issues you had during your tenancy at Brentwood Lake ApartmentsFrom the summary that you provided, it appears that a lot of these issues were during the time of the previous management company, as First Pacific Group took over Brentwood
Lake Apartments in April Nonetheless, we can see how the misplaced checks would be cause for concern (and frustration) on your partFor that we do apologize! Fortunately enough, a lot of communities are now moving to paperless paymentsThis is quite beneficial for both residents and the management company as is increases ease of payment and also helps with securityNow in regards to your account balance, it appears that you moved out in August and provided us with a forwarding address at that timeThe process once you turn in keys is that the office would take photos of the apartment and then access any damages or cleaning fees that were beyond wear and tearThe office then generates the move out statement within 30-days of move out and sends it to the forwarding address on fileNow, typically if a notice is sent back, we try to contact the resident and get a current address to resend the move out statement; if not, we may attempt to send it a second time in hopes that the resident has then updated their address with the postal serviceWe typically do this along with sending emails or making several phone calls to the resident(s)Now it may be that the information we had on file was out of date? Perhaps your number changed or the address was not reported correctly? Unfortunately we cannot go back two years to find out, but that is what it appears to have been because the office staff in place would not have refused a payment plan from a previous residentThe reason that we address that issue is because we typically try to hold off on sending an account to collections if we feel that a resident may make arrangementsIt helps the resident pay off the balance without having it report to the collection agencyIt also helps the community collect in-house and not have to go through the collection agency. At some point if there is no contact from the resident, the community will send the account over to their preferred agency due to lack of paymentIn this case, it appears we made several attempts to contact you in regards to the balance with no availThe account was finally sent to the collection agency in January due to lack of contact or payment plan At this point going forward, you will have to set up a payment plan with the collection agency, but please let us know if there anything we can do to help! As requested, we have attached a copy of the move out statement and are willing to provide any other documentation that is needed to assist youAlways at your Service, Brentwood Lake Management

I do not accept this, I was not contacted the address was correct and I called them. They vinyl flooring you are charging me for was damaged when I moved in. I will be seeing what pictures I still have and paperwork with my move in damages. The cabinets yes in the restroom. The blinds I understand, the carpet was coming apart at the seams as well in squares and I notified the office of that when  I lived there. When I moved out I was told all I owed was the $472.00 or I would have paid the full amount I owed at the time. This is not okay to do to people, it ruins peoples lives. You had my right phone number and address. I even called you.

I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]

Brentwood lakes apartments has yet to reach out to me in regards too my deposit. I have yet to hear from someone at the Revdex.com as well.  I'm getting a little concerned it has been over a month now and would like to get this issue resolved. Thank you

To whom it may concern, I am emailing you in response to the complaint entered by [redacted] applied for an apartment at Brentwood Lake Apartments on Thursday, August 4, 2016. On the application that she filled out it asks if there is a current or previous balance owed to a rental...

or mortgage company. On this question [redacted] answered no. With that being said, the application states that the deposit will be forfeited if any false or inaccurate information is given. [redacted] had initialed and signed that she did not owe a balance to or mortgage or landlord company. When we ran [redacted]'s application on Thursday, August 4, 2016 it was set to pending because it was waiting on additional information from the screening company. When we reviewed the screening it showed an eviction was filed from [redacted] in May of 2012 and an out standing balance for the same property was sent to collections on March 2013. We asked [redacted] if she had paid off the balance showing to [redacted], which she claimed she had. When she brought in the proof of payment it was actually for another community that she had paid off in 2012. As there was a current balance owed to a rental or mortgage company, the application was denied. The deposit was forfeited due to [redacted] falsifying the application by stating that there was no current or previous balance owed to a rental company. Her report showed a current balance that had been outstanding and she provided the documents that she had knowingly owed a previous rental company in the past. I have attached a copy of the application with the sections in question underlined. I have also attached the rental report and the documents showing the receipt of payment to an additional rental company. Please let me know if you require any additional information.
