This complex is beautiful on the inside, but ugly when you meet the staff The sad part is that the manager, Carol, allows this behavior In fact I believe she is the reason staff act the way they do I have had so many bad experiences The most recent is when I received a letter stating they were painting the building and to kindly remove outside items When I tried to leave the apartment, as I was working from home, I was advised I either had to stay in my apartment or out of my apartment for approximately an hour as they were painting the floor This is not something I think can be dictated Especially without notice When I called the office I was told that the floor is part of the building and I needed to comply As this now effects my job, I advised that would not be feasible Maintenance then continued to call me names, tell me how stupid I was being, etc I called the office back to advise I was now being harassed in my own hallway and I wanted them to resolve She advised her staff stated they were not rude (of course!) and when I complained further I was told the breezeway was private property and they could treat me anyway they wanted As retaliation, I received a letter on my door at 5pm stating my rent was overdue and rejected on October Of course October is not when rent is due and my automatic payments are set up for the 1st of every month Carol became so belligerent and rude, after I pointed out her document was full of lies, that I asked for the property owner's information At which time she hung up on me The next day I received a super sweet email trying to work things out I continued to ask for the owning agency and have been denied that information I'm sure to her dismay, I have found the information myself Of course I am now awaiting a call back as, at 2pm, staff was not back from lunch yet The person in charge of the complex became annoyed when I tried to discuss my issues I now will not have maintenance work on my unit at all as there is no trust that they will be professional
