In October 2019 I took my daughter to get her yearly eye exam & ordered her prescription glasses with specific add ons & warranty. Here we are today in February 2020 & my daughter broke her glasses. Seeking to get them fixed, I called The Eye Dr. & a young lady answered the phone & told me that The Eye Dr. closed down both locations in Tampa,Fl & that all their clients were transferred to Optical Outlets. I was surprised that The Eye Dr. didn't even send a letter to notify their clients of the transition. At this point I am frustrated because Optical Outlets has no information on how I can get in contact with The Eye Dr. Also, Optical Outlets won't accept the warranty I currently have & are offering me a discount instead but I will have to pay extra for the add ons & warranty AGAIN!

Refund I would like my refund for the full amount of $188. Which is the total amount I paid out of pocket for her frame, warranty, & additional add ons.
All patients were notified by text message and via our website that The Eye Dr. was closing forever on December 13. There is no Eye Dr. to contact at this time.
It's false that optical outlets will not honor the warranty from The Eye Dr. Ms. G. should call Optical Outlets again and ask for regional manager Christina M. who is personally handling all Eye Dr. complaints. Ms M. has been given Ms. G. phone number and will make contact with her within the week to resolve this dispute.
