The Family Car Wash

The Family Car Wash is an automated car was that uses change or tokens to operate its washing/vacuuming machinery. On 07,October,2015 around 1230 noon I took my car there to clean it. I had used the facility before, and having my own change, the first experience was fine. October 7th turned out to be a completely different story. I only had bills, and this required me to use THEIR change machine. I inserted a 5.00 USD Bill and no change was dispensed. I called the number listed on the empty office door [redacted] and followed the instructions as no one answered. I was asked to leave my name and phone twice to ensure they got it right. The message went on to say if you had not received a call back within 24 hours to call the following[redacted]. I called that number as well, and again no answer just a machine. I again left my name and phone, and asked for them to please call me. I repeated the above for over a week, and I never heard from the owner [redacted]. I would simply like a refund of my $5.00. Check the security tapes for that day. You will see me and my light blue [redacted] pull in, try to get change so I can support a local business, and finally give up and drive off warning others the change machine is not working. Had the owner called me the same day he would have found out that it was not a big deal. I just wanted him to go to the business he owns and repair the machine so other patrons would be able to use his services. After all every exchanged dollar would have gone right back to him. Now it's a matter of disrespect and lousy principles. What if it was one of your family members that this happened to? Bottom line this is stealing. I have filed a police report with the RPD. I am hoping Mr.[redacted] will call me. I have read other on line reviews of his service, and this seems odd based on those reviews. If there is a reason for ignoring my calls send me a text or email. I am not mad just busy like you most likely are, however, as a manager myself for a large airline I know negative comments are far more damaging than 10 compliments. Please Mr.[redacted] call me and let's work this out. I can always change my reviews, but it's up to you at this point. /////
