Regarding the LRcoolant leaks issue brought in for repairs by *** ** ***, mobile ###-###-####,*** ** *** brought the LRto us as it needed a front brake jobWe performed the front brake job, replacing the front brake pads and pad sensors and front rotorsDuring the test drive the
mechanic noted that there was a noise coming from the front of the engine and a clunk in the front end when stoppingUpon further inspection we found that the water pump was making a bearing noise and had started to leak coolant, and the front lower control arm bushings were worn causing the clunkThese issues were noted on the first invoice.*** ** *** had us replace the water pump but we had to get authorization from his *** warranty company*** would not let us put a proper OEM updated pump on the car but would only send us an aftermarket pump without the updated pump parts recommended by Land RoverWe installed the pump sent to us and *** paid for the labor not *** ** ***weeks later *** ** *** brought the LRback to us with a small coolant leak, *** stated that he had only driven the car miles and felt that the water pump was leakingWe pulled the LRin and noticed that it actually had 2,miles since the pump was replacedWe pressure checked the cooling system at no charge and found that the coolant crossover pipe under the intake manifold was leaking, this is a common LRfailure, *** 1AJones authorized us to replace it.
