Review: Mr. [redacted] from "The fenceman" started a job repairing my house fence and rebuilding the gate back in March 2013. The job was not completed due to the breakage of one of his tools. The only portion of the job not completed was the drilling of a hole in the concrete for the drop rod. He stated that he was going to return within a week to 10 days to finish the job as soon as he had the tool. I trusted him and I paid him in full that same day (March 5, 2013). Myself and my wife had to call back in several occasions to try to get him to come and finish. At first he said he was not able to get the tool, but in later calls he kept saying he was very busy with jobs out of town and that he was going to contact us to make arrangements to come and finish. On one occasion, on the set date for him to come drill the hole, we, my wife and I, were not able to be present at the house (due to an unexpected inconvenience) and I had to cancel the appointment. After that, every time I called I was told the same thing, he was too busy but he would call to let us know. Not having heard from Mr. [redacted] again, my wife, righteously upset, called him one last time back in September 4th 2013 and offered him a week to come finish or she would present a complaint against him. She also explained the gate swings enough for him to be able to come and drill the hole any day, any time, without the need for us to be present. Mr. [redacted] has not come nor called. Having waited more than a week since the last phone conversation and exactly 7 months since we paid in full ($1,045.00), we are filing this complaint hoping that the Revdex.com will intercede for us without the need of any further legal actions.Desired Settlement: Finish the job!
