complaint received by one of The Fields of Gaithersburg residents.
The following is a summary of the events told to me by our assistant manager.
On Saturday, December 12"our assistant manager (employee) arrived to work 15 minutes late due to traffic. When she was exiting her vehicle in front of the leasing office, [redacted] and [redacted]).--both residents of the community, were standing outside of the office door waiting for her. [redacted] then asked in a very combative tone “Why are you running late?" The employee then apologized to both residents about her tardiness. [redacted] proceeded to let the employee know how unhappy She was with the new management and how much she missed the old management company. [redacted] also asked "why are you filing suit on the 2" of each month" and stated that "we aren't sympathetic to her situation like the old company". [redacted] also wanted to confirm if she was off of the eviction list. The employee then said to [redacted] "ma'am there is nothing I can do about your unhappiness... we are following the procedures to file suit because that is what Montgomery County allows the landlord to do". "I cannot tell you why the old management company did not file suit on the 2". "[redacted] then Said to the employee " [redacted] you don't know who you are dealing with and I'm going to make sure that you are going to know who you are dealing with". The employee then said “please leave the office”, [redacted] immediately said "no you are going to listen. I'm going to tell you. I'm going to contact thc main office and make sure you are fired." The employee felt threatened so she called 911. The Montgomery County police officer ([redacted]) arrived at the leasing office @ 11:39 am. [redacted] had already left the office so the police officer went directly to her apartment to question her about what happened in the office.
