Review: Purchased a car from Fine Auto Store with the owner's "green light" that all the mechanics were working properly. Took the car to another mechanic for a second opinion and during that inspection, $1500 in repairs needed to be addressed. Two of those repairs were safety hazards and needed to be repaired immediately. On top of the repairs, it has been 2 months since the purchase and the owner recently called to tell us he lost the DMV paperwork which we originally called about last month and were told that it was submitted. We have been waiting for the registration and license plates to come in and now we must wait even longer! The business ethics of these employees is horrendous. They increased our initial deposit by $500, they are rude, no one ever seems to know the answers to our questions, the owner is never available! This placed should be investigated and shut down.Desired Settlement: Submit proper paperwork immediately to DMV
Review: I promptly canceled a warranty for purchase for 2,000 for a auto from the Fine auto store, I was informed by the sales person my funds would be returned, I allowed plenty of time for the return of my funds for the warranty, which I canceled due the failure to inform me of the California 90 day waiting period and the car I just purchased which had a cracked driving belt and cost me 1.8k to repair. I have sent several emails, and contacted them through their website, yet they ignore my inquires, I have been to the store only to be told the owner is not in, I am a disabled veteran and on ssdi, and they are taking advantage of me. For them not to return my funds in uncalled for, and bad business.Desired Settlement: I would like the Fine Auto store to return my funds as they claimed they would, I do not have a warranty, and I canceled in person promptly, within the term and condition of the warranty the Fine Auto Store sold me.
