Review: The Fire Guys' representative, who initially gave us an estimate to install a new kitchen blower, made appointments with us and did not show up to do the work. This happened on three occasions whereby we had confirmation that someone would come to install the fan. No one had shown up the following day to do the work. We called and left messages, we pleaded with them and we were assured it would get done and that they would "make it up to you". The owner was supposed to call us back and never did. They took over $2,000 for empty promises and work never performed. I have attached text messages of the correspondence between us...

The fan is $2850.... We need 2 thirds upfront and the balance of a third when it's installed. It will take approximately 5 business days to have the fan delivered

Hey I'll draw up an official estimate with drawings and specs etc. I will pick up the check on either Monday or Tuesday then when we order the fan & equipment I can let you know an exact date when I start and then the completion day. I'll find out about coordinating with your electrician

Hey sorry I was asleep last night early but no not a pest at all, I'm goin to supply warehouse today after my manhattan stop and see how much longer til it's in, the fan for yours is on back order til I think by Tuesday should be in. Then once it's here I'll be over in the next day or so to install it. I'll call you to coordinate with electrician so we can complete job quickly. Thank you for patience. Please don't ever hesitate to call and ask any questions

Good morning, gotta check out the weather for tomorrow to install, your fan is here but if it's gonna rain or even fog and mist, we can't cause it's way too dangerous to go up on you roof. It's slate which is very slippery and becomes slick and it's a 12 pitch, steepest one. I am pushing to do it ASAP. I will text you later with an update if we can or not tomorrow

Hey I jus got these texts and saw missed calls, idk why it never got done today. I wasn't the one doing it, there was a crew of 2 guys who work for us scheduled to do it. I apologize for what happened on the company and my behalf and I'll tell the office and owner what happened. They will figure out what needs to be done to remedy this mishaps. Someone will call you with a solution. Sorry and I'll talk to you again after you hear from my office, I just work there and don't have an explanation of why it didn't get solved today. I want the # of the owner. This is unacceptable. You were the only # on the business card. Are you not in charge of this project?? Why wasn't all this relayed to the work team?? Tell him I want my money back. I would like to find someone else to do the job. Thank you.

No I'm not in charge of this project, I just work for the company. If you leave a message on the company's answering service he will receive it and hear your message. I understand your frustration idk how to fix this anymore I was jus the one texting and setting this up.

I've already left messages on the company #. You said you would make sure the owner got them. If he got them , he should have called. I called you, you texted me and said you were driving and would call in a few mins. I texted you yesterday, and nothing. You leave me no other choice but to contact consumer protection. I've been more than patient . Enough is enough.

Just letting you know that we are going to do this the hard way, since the easy way just went out the door. A complaint has been filed with the attorney generals office. " - end.

Ample time was allotted to do the work, starting with the initial estimate in April, till the end of June, and still nothing was done. And we got no response from the owner or company rep. I contacted consumer protection and was told to contact the attorney general's office who in turn told me to contact the Revdex.com. Please help! Thank you.Desired Settlement: To get our money refunded. No more, no less than the amount on the check.
