Review: On September 21, 2015, a man from the business listed, came to my home to service my gas fireplace logs. I purchased the logs from the same company a few years back. I told the service man that the logs were not working properly. He vacuumed the area and worked on the set. I supplied all the new batteries needed. We both used the remote to light the logs several times and it worked. I explained to him that sometimes it will work for several days and then not light at all. Since it was working at the time he was there he told me to call him if it stopped lighting. On Saturday, October 31, 2015, I pressed the remote to light the logs, they didn't light. I tried several times before calling The Fireplace Shop and leaving a message.I had not heard back from them so on Monday, November 2,2015 around 9:35 a.m. I called the shop and spoke with the rude man that answers the phone and schedules services. He said in a nasty tone "Can't you light it yourself". I told him I could not and that I had paid them to service it and make sure it was safe and operating correctly. He continued to respond to my concerns in a harsh rude manner, and then he said it will be along time before the serviceman could get back to me. I asked for a refund. I asked for his supervisors name and number, he hung up on me.I called back and he had set the phone to voice-mail. At this point I do not want these people in my home again. I want a refund! I paid by check, the amount of $65.00. My bank says the check has cleared. These are gas logs, and I consider them to be dangerous if not operating correctly. With my refund, I will call another company to come in and service my gas fireplace logs.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and then nothing else to do with this business.
