We have offered reluctantly to refund [redacted] s moneyWe did nothing wrong, She said she took care of her tank for years on her own and only ce to us once she knew the situation was extremely dire, otherwise she would have continued caring for it on her ownUnfortunately we are not miricle workers who can fix any aquatic problems Perhaps she should have contacted us sooner, as I said before, in the interest of customer service we will refund her moneyBut I would like this matter wiped from the record of the Revdex.com unless she can prove negligence on our partShe will need to come by the store and I will refund her $unless the Revdex.com has another method to get her paid

I have discussed this further with [redacted], who is quite  on fresh water fish and the maintenance of them, he explained to me that the fish was 13 to 14 inches long and way over sized for a 30 gallon tank. years in that small of a tank and if she wished to keep it she would need a larger home for it, she said that she wasn't interested in doing that. In the interest of customer service, I will refund the $72.00 she spent here and on the service. But I would like to make a couple of things clear. First, We spend countless hours researching all aspects of aquatics. We will not tell a customer that their water is good just to get them to buy a fish and all of our test equipment and chemicals are new and in great working order and everyone working at the store is well versed on how to use them. Second, we are very proud of the customer service we provide for our customers, we have their best interest at heart and it is very offensive to me that we are portrayed in this light. I'm very sorry this happened but I know it is in no way the fault of The Fish Bowl. I don't feel there are many"experts' in this business, but I promise you we are more knowledgeable than any other fish store in this area. We gave good advise and If [redacted] would bring some more aquarium water in, I personally will show her how I test the water by the directions and what I find. I find it very hard to believe that the nitrates dropped from 180 to 0 with only a 3 gallon water change. In fact if she brings the water and it is good, I will be happy to replace her fish.

We have offered reluctantly to refund [redacted]s money. We did nothing wrong, She said she took care of her tank for years on her own and only ce to us once she knew the situation was extremely dire,  otherwise she would have continued caring for it on her own. Unfortunately we are not miricle workers who can fix any aquatic problems.  Perhaps she should have contacted us sooner, as I said before, in the interest of customer service we will refund her money. But I would like this matter wiped from the record of the Revdex.com unless she can prove negligence on our part. She will need to come by the store and I will refund her $77.00 unless the Revdex.com has another method to get her paid.

I've been taking my two autos to S & J for six years now and always have had a great experience. They do great work, charge minimal service fees, and go above & beyond for their customers. One time the owner ([redacted]) helped us with a difficult child's car seat instillation, and says he has people come to him with random problems off the street quite often, and he'll help them with no charge. They have a good rep in the community and are that trustworthy mechanic shop everyone hopes they'll find when not everyone is quite so reputable.

Review: I have maintained & cared for my goldfish for eight years and today, April 10, 2014 found my fish dead. And here is why I chose to file this complaint to Revdex.com: On March 31, 2014 I went to Fish Bowl and a sales rep name [redacted] assisted me in buying two small algae eaters to add in my fish tank, (algae eater helps to keep clean fish tank). And one week on April 5, 2014, [redacted] went to my house to clean my fish tank (30 galloon fish tank). By Sunday, April 6th, my fish's one eye looks like there is covered whitish film and some on its body. I contacted fish bowl about it, on Monday, April 7th, I brought my water tank & tap to test as well, tap water tested fine but tank water showed too much nitrates. Fish Bowl's advised to give fish amoxicillin as medicine to treat for eye white film and to remove 3 galloons of water and in 3 galloons for 3 or 4 days. Meanwhile, I got in contact with other experts of fish care in Delaware. I was told by other three fish experts that my fish has been contaminated with fungus, possibly from the two algae eaters that was brought in my fish tank and from handling of cleaning the tank. Further, I went to confirm test of the water tank from another fish store on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, and found that the tank water is free of nitrates , and was advised no more changing of water as it also causes more stress to my sick fish, and was also informed that the any new fish to add in tank should be handled appropriately such as quarantine separately for at least 10days before adding into the other fish, of which all these information were never communicated to me by Fish Bowl. As of Wednesday, April 9, 2014, one algae eater died. So, for the second time, I contacted Fish Bowl to inform of the matter and that I tested water tank found no nitrates in water. Fish Bowl did not seem concern, and are not accomodating for any of my cost (though minimal, medicine and the algae eater, cleaning of tank). I was praying and concentration my efforts in trying to help my fish get better and hopeful to save from either the disease acquired or dying, but nonetheless the next day April 10, 2014 my fish died. I am very disappointed and upset with Fish Bowl because I relied on them as expert with acquariums & fish but they wind up the cause to kill my fish of eight years old. They gave me inconsistent and inaccurate information. They told me that goldfish lifespan is anywhere from four to five years only. But why I had my fish for eight years if they fish bowl was correct on the lifespan? The other fish stores told me goldfishes can leave longer than five years and a lifespan of 10 to 25 years. I will never recommend their business with anyone. I truly believe Fish Bowl got my fish killed.Desired Settlement: I would like for Fish Bowl, to acknowledge the fact that they made a mistake by misinforming, (could me the sales rep Jeff is not knowledgeable) but the other rep who claimed that gold fish lifespan is 4 to 5 years is incorrect also incorrect to diagnosed my fish being old as I showed him the photos to see the show the white film on fish. They all seem unknowlegdeable from the other three fish sources I inquired with this problem and these three sources all confirmed the same advised, except for Fish Bowl. I would also like them not only learn from their mistake but to also refund my money for the algae, cleaning, medicine which is not a huge amount $72 but it is just right and its the principle, though will not bring my fish back.
