This apartment complex has been through many changes, the most recent change has been under the management of the [redacted] management company. This is a very large management company, and since the change to this new management, living at this complex has become increasingly frustrating due to the lack of professionalism and courtesy. The level of service at this complex is so poor, and the assistant manager acts in a manner that portrays service as an inconvenience to her. They make changes with very little regard to residents, and no notification. They specifically will not notify residents if they get some sort of profit out of the change. I have been appalled and disappointed with the level of rudeness that this management team uses when dealing with residents. The only time that they are accommodating is when there are prospective new residents who may sign a lease. Maintenance requests are also almost never fulfilled, and I have had to personally remind management multiple times to get one maintenance request addressed. There have also been other requests that have never been addressed. One such request was to address a mold problem that we have been having. The request was dismissed as "unsolvable" due to moisture in the buildings and poor windows. However, I am extremely concerned at their lack of attention to such a health hazard. Failure to return security deposit in a timely manner after I moved out.I moved on 6/20/2014 from the Evergreens. I left my keys and forwarding address with management. I initially reached out to them about a month afterwards as I had not received my deposit nor an itemized checkout list from moveout. During that time, the property was taken over by a new management company. Initially new management told me to contact old management, [redacted]. He then referred me back to new management to take care of things. This back and forth of old management saying its new management's responsibility to refund my deposit and new management saying its old management's responsibility has continued for months. I was finally lead to believe this would be resolved when Ms. [redacted] with new management stepped in. She reported that she could not find any documentation in regards to my apartment information and was going to check the cleaning records from when I moved out. If the cleaning was a standard cleaning, she would refund my money. After several weeks without contact, I followed up with her. She then told me that she could not help me,to contact old management for my money and to [redacted] old management's information. I have kindly, reasonably been trying to get my deposit back for several months with no resolution. I left the apartment in tip top shape as my entire family can attest to as we all spent the entire day cleaning, mopping and vacuuming. I inquired about my deposit after the thirty days and have been pushed around ever since. It's only a $350.00 security deposit! I cannot believe the treatment I have received from everyone involved. This is no way to run a business involving consumers.Desired SettlementI just want my security deposit back-$350.00. That's it.
