Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This response includes personal identifying information, does not address the breaches of contract, but instead has excusesFor example, saying that we "provided the wrong candles" when we told the business at our last meeting what we were buying and there was no advisement to change themAnother example; moving the ceremony décor downstairs was in the contract and was simply not followedThe excuses they provided were never cleared by the brideThe bride requested that the ceremony arrangement be moved to both club staff and the wedding planner; it was simply not doneDespite these excuses, the photos that were provided to The Fleuriste throughout the planning process were clearly delineated in a powerpoint presentationAt no point were we told that we would have to increase the budget to meet the proposed decorationsHad we been told we were receiving a modified version of our proposed décor, we would have chosen a different floristI am inclined only to address the breaches of contract as the personal remarks at the end of their response seem unprofessional and pettyThe following document uses the exact images from our décor proposal, provided greater than months prior to the eventThe words for what was supposed to be in the décor are copied and pasted from the original contract Sincerely, [redacted]

Flower Type: Peonies were used but due to mother nature we cannot 100% control size of
flowers received from grower (as stated in contract)Candles: Client cut candles
from our contract.Client chose to provide own candles therefore needed to place own candlesCeremony: see photo belowclient provided
wrong candles for treesclient approved gold container at last meetingUnable to move ceremony decor due to extended period of time for family photos - Fleuriste sta? was still on sight to move the backdrop but time did not permit it being movedWedding planner advised not to disrupt dinner with back drop movementHead Table: See photo
below-Varied heights of vases were used
with candles also to include trio gobletsBridal Bouquet: see photo
belowContract stated white and blush flowers onlyBouquet included peonies and was beach ball sizedNo brown edges or leaves were present when bouquet was delivered to client - taking photos outdoors in temperatures below freezing can have adverse a?ects on flowers.Lavender was never part of bridal bouquet to our knowledge and according to contractBoutonnieres: Rose was ‘hot
lady’ - dark pinkRose -NOT red“Striking” Fee: Mother chose to “clean up” prior to The
Fleuriste’s return to venue - which was not required. If she needed to pick up the candles and
votives she supplied then that is her right but The Fleuriste’s strike arrival time
after events is not pre-determined.Please see
additional photos of weddingIt is our position that we went above and beyond
for this wedding.This client and
her family were challenging to work with throughout the entire planning process
and hostile during meetingsThe bride and her mother have spent the past
months publicly attacking and attempting
to defame The Fleuriste via numerous social media platforms. To this point,
The Fleuriste has chosen not to address this family’s outrageous allegations
because we are very aware of their dramatic bully-like tactics used in an e?ort
to simply recoup money

I am rejecting this response because:This response 1. includes personal identifying information, 2. does not address the breaches of contract, but instead has excuses. For example, saying that we "provided the wrong candles" when we told the business at our last meeting what we were buying and there was no advisement to change them. Another example; moving the ceremony décor downstairs was in the contract and was simply not followed. The excuses they provided were never cleared by the bride. The bride requested that the ceremony arrangement be moved to both club staff and the wedding planner; it was simply not done. Despite these excuses, the photos that were provided to The Fleuriste throughout the planning process were clearly delineated in a powerpoint presentation. At no point were we told that we would have to increase the budget to meet the proposed decorations. Had we been told we were receiving a modified version of our proposed décor, we would have chosen a different florist. I am inclined only to address the breaches of contract as the personal remarks at the end of their response seem unprofessional and petty. The following document uses the exact images from our décor proposal, provided greater than 6 months prior to the event. The words for what was supposed to be in the décor are copied and pasted from the original contract.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
