This has been a frustrating experience for all of usThe primary insurance carrier has acted in bad faithThey have been unresponsive, slow and inaccurate which has lead to problems for everyone concernedThe HOA has recently paid the balance due in fullI would still recommend, in cooperation
with the HOA, following our instructions in our May 26th letter to hold the insurance company accountableIf you can get the insurance company to talk to us, we are available
The work we did was documented and supportedPortions of the Farmers Insurance estimate that they shared were not supportedI suspect there were also portions of the scope of work that they may have ignored entirelyThey never replied to our multiple inquires about those omitted itemsIf you can get Farmers Insurance to address their problems, we are available
Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I think you are the one that has acted in bad faithThe insurance company rejected your claims because you were unable to document the work you didThe amounts you billed the insurance company for were not the same as amounts on my invoiceHow does that happen? I spoke with the adjuster, she said the shortages paid were due to the fact that you were unable to document so they were either disallowed or paid at industry standardsWould you care to specifically address the items you billed that you didn't do? I found over $billed for work that was not done.I am glad the HOA stepped in and paid the remaining amount due on your invoice to prevent you from filing a lien on my propertyBut again, this lien would have been falsely filled because, 1) The contract you had us sign during our flood would be considered void, (signed under duress)Falsely filing a lien carries a 10,fine2) Now that the claim has been settled, this allows you to continue to rip off other unsuspecting flood victims, without recourse
Sincerely,
