However, they're claims to have contacted us are false. The company contacted us after getting a negative rating from you, and asked to resolve the matter. They have come out and done some repairs and we have paid in full. We are greatful to be done with this company and would not recommend them to anyone. Thank you for your help in this matter.

The following correspondence is in response to your recent letter regarding complaint #[redacted] submitted by [redacted].The Floor Store has not, at any time, taken the position of ignoring this customer's concerns. On the contrary, we initiated an independent inspection so as not to...

appear biased and have every intention of correcting any valid issues. Efforts had been made to reach [redacted], who was also listed on our Contract and had been in contact with our Sales Associate on several occasions prior to the initiation of this complaint. Several messages were left but to date, contact has not been established. In response to Ms. [redacted]'s reference to the independent inspection of the "carpet" and that the concerns were not about the carpet, but about craftsmanship issues, it is important to note that this is normal practice for the manufacturer to send a certified inspector toassess the true source of customer concerns whether they be caused by product, installation or environmental conditions. This inspector's report did not find defects in the material. The inspector also noted that the door seams and hall seams were not "excessively visible" and that all seams arc "tight."His corrective observations stemmed from the carpet not being secured by edge scaler at the tile transition and also indicated that two door seams did not lay flat. These are the only items that have been established as requiring any corrective action. However, we are more than receptive to appease any of the customer's concerns where they are practical, feasible and not in accordance with industry standards. As the inspector noted, and is an industry standard, "seams are visible due to lighting." Normally, they dissipate and often disappear with time and normal wear as the carpet seam tape relaxes into the cushion below. It is important to note that corrective action will not guarantee that the seams will be less visible.Pertaining to the mechanic's lien, it is standard policy for most contractors to place a lien on a property when materials and labor are provided and payment in full has not been received. This is not an unusual practice and the customer was not singled out.We will work with the customer to schedule their repairs as soon as is possible for both parties to be available. We will expect payment of the entire remaining balance at the time of completion.Enclosed, please find a copy of the inspector's full report as supporting documentation. Please let us know as soon as we can proceed with the repairs, and contact [redacted] or [redacted] at ###-###-#### to coordinate.
