In response, [redacted] first contacted back in April 2015 of this year inquiring about her wedding which was in October 2015, which was plenty of time in order to help her. We were happy to help her and learn about her wedding and what she was looking for. She requested several items to go along...

with her theme styled after The [redacted] of [redacted] TV show - which would have been an extremely expensive occasion. After learning what she would like for her wedding and what her budget was, we informed [redacted] that what she was looking for was out of the price range that she was hoping to stay in but that we would try get her the same aesthetic but within a more affordable price range. We sit down with a folder with each bride made specifically for them showing them what types of flowers and sizes of arrangements are within each brides budget. While we offer free consultations for our brides, we do inform them that there is no guarantee that we hold that day for them specifically without the nonrefundable $100.00 day hold deposit. This reserves the date for that day in order to work with us. [redacted] was fully aware of these terms and agreed to the contract at our second appointment on April 29, 2015. For about a week and half of business days(roughly 2 weeks with weekends) at the end of May 2015 we closed as we relocated our store a half a mile down the street. We informed all customers, brides, etc of this several times before actually moving as well as customers being informed of our move by email, window display, social media, local [redacted]spaper, and other outlets to ensure smooth transitioning. We never received any notification that [redacted] was attempting to get a hold of us. No phone calls, emails, letters, etc. After [redacted] had changed her color scheme and budget between consultations which we then had to reevaluate what we would be able to do which we were happy to fix for her but informed her that this also changes the size and types of flowers that we would be able to include but still had plenty of time on order to make any changes without any problems and we were happy to help. In attempt to help her come to final flower decisions, there were attempts several attempts in calling, emailing, as well as scheduling follow up consultations that [redacted] then canceled/rescheduled or didn't show up for we then had to wait until she contacted us. We then finally touched based via phone and rescheduled her next appointment on July 11, 2015 which also happened to be the date that her 30% deposit was due for her contract. [redacted] did not show up for her appointment so we then again attempted to call and email. We then heard from her on July 13th, calling multiple times both saying that she did want to continue working with us and not work with us in the same day. She continuously verbally attacked us over the phone, calling us liars, racists, and more. She requested cancellation of her contract and asked for her deposit back which we informed her was not part of the agreement that she signed. We informed [redacted] that her contract would be canceled at her request. She continued to call and harass the business which we told her we will not stand for. With agreement to the contract the $100.00 day hold deposit is nonrefundable as we then turn away business in order for the bride to be able to work with us. We informed [redacted] of this multiple times as she inquired about it multiple times both by the owner and assistant. [redacted] continued to try and move forward legally which was closed immediately due to this agreement that she had signed. Unfortunately, we weren't able to help [redacted] but hope she finds what she is looking for in her wedding. The refund will not take place due to contract terms. Attached you will find a copy of our contract as well as the email confirming her request for cancellation.
