Review: We hired[redacted]to remodel our bathroom from a shower stall to a bathtub stall. Before work on Friday Dec 6 [redacted] came to our residents with a handwritten contract since he stated his computer was broken. We have gave him a sum of 1100 for half of the work per his contract. [redacted] said he will do the bathroom within a week. He came to our residents everday late when he said he would be here at 9:00 am to start work. He was only here for about 8 to 9 hours total in 5 days and he only did the tear our of our bathroom. [redacted] also requested the sum of 100.00 for supplies to purchase at handyman hardware in Hubbard. I found out [redacted] only spent 16.99 for a drain, and he bought plummers putty and tape and spent about 68.00 of my 100.00 on personal items. While he was working alcohol was on his breath.Over the 5 days he stated he needed to keep going back to his house to get tools infact he was robbing us blind when my wife was caring for our 8 month old daughter in our living room. My wife didn' have no idea he was stealing from our home. We terminated his contract and I demanded 1200.00 from [redacted] and he ignored my request the date was 12-9 when he started the project and December 14,2013 we terminated the contract for failure to perform the job. On December 18th my wife noticed a large amount items missing in our basement. [redacted] Flowers was the only person in our house this time frame. Items included, a surround sound raido system with speakers Sony, Gemindhart flute, a christmas lionel train set is vintage 14 years old. vintage christmas village about 28 peices. case of led christmas lights, High end chaffing stainless steel dishs for catering and a jewerly box with hubbard high school graduating ring in it. Please never hire this man to do an work!!!!!Police report is on file, and I filed a claim in small claims courtDesired Settlement: My wife and I want our 1200.00 back in cash along with all the items he took out of our house. total cost of items would be about 4200.00 at our best estimate
