I received service from this buisness roughly three weeks ago When I read his excellent reviews on [redacted]. Confident in his work I contacted him and we set up an appointment to meet on a Saturday afternoon off of rock and Longley lane 4 miles away from my home where my car had stopped working. Upon arrival [redacted] began asking questions about my [redacted] metro: why wouldn't it start and what noises and so on.. so he began looking under the hood moving parts around spraying some engine cleaner and began trying to start the car to no avail. Thinking he would put it on some sort of machine after the car didn't start he just made a quick jump to saying it was the fuel pump. He began giving me prices and what I would be looking at and how my car is salvageable. He then closed my hood and after quick discussion about the fuel pump and how certain it was that piece, he mentioned not being able to tow me home. Stating he doesn't have a part that connects to the trailer. The reviews on [redacted] all had the same outline... he spends time with the car "diagnosing" and is able to get the car going even after sitting in the lot for years. So how was it that when it came to my car he didn't have any means of fixin it? He spent 20 minutes tops when he came out with this conclusion about my car. This part is about his cusomer service; he began talking to me about his divorce with his wife and his kids. Listening to this he told me how he can cheat the system because the clients he services give him cash and he doesn't necessarily write it down. I should have just left his site after that but so positive in his work I paid the 100 for the "diagnostic." [redacted] said he would call me about pricing for the fuel pump and when he could service it however, It's been roughly three weeks and the only means of communication was me calling him 1.) Asking about the part on MLK day and no response and 2.) Asking for a refund. Both instances he never called me back we are now pushing on four weeks. And he hasn't done any work on my car.Product_Or_Service: DiagnosticDesired SettlementAll I ask if for a refund. The one time I got a hold of him he said he would call me back and it's been a week. No call back. I wanted to settle this person to person but he seems to want to do things a bit harder, so I had no other choice then to complain about his buisness and lack of service.
