Given that the mistake was on the company's end, and I had to put in many hours of my own time to rectify their mistake (while dealing with rude representatives who treated me as if I had done something wrong), I would like a credit in the amount of $** for future tollsMy time has value, and I was asked to pay $** to the company for their time, so I believe the same for mine is appropriate

Review: [redacted]On 1/3/2012, Focused Recovery reported a collection balance from [redacted] to credit bureaus (while also harassing me up to 8 times a day). I paid the $75 several months later. Despite this, I noticed nearly a year later that FR never informed the credit bureaus that I paid the balance. Unfortunately, I also never received a receipt of payment either. I promptly called FR only to be told that my account was now closed (since it was paid off) and that it was "no longer accessible." I then contacted the hospital and was directed back to FR (dead end). Nearly three years later, the account is still listed as "open."

Focused Recovery has yet to prove that payment was ever received by [redacted].Desired Settlement: I request that a receipt of payment is sent to my current address, proof that payment was sent to [redacted], and that all credit bureaus are notified that the account has been paid off.

Review: I have fallen behind on paying my daughters medical bills after she was in the hospital. I agreed with Focused Recovery Soultions to pay 100 a month until my balance was paid. We agreed on the 30th of December would be payment since I did have the money at the time and would not be paid until the 30th of December. I wake up Christmas morning to fine that they had processed my account for 100 and made me go negative incurring over-draft fees and now I don't know how I will feed my children until the 30th.Desired Settlement: I would like the over-draft fee of $36 and the 100 reinstated until the 30th as previously agreed upon.

Review: The business is just one of many that has placed my name in the credit bureaus in an attempt top get paid because I have consolidated my debt in an attempt to improve my credit score. This bill this company has was paid on July 8th 2014 with my credit card if I can obtain information the company could have called the hospital to see if indeed I owe the bill before putting it against my credit score. It is a form of fraud and I expect the Revdex.com to do some thing about. If not my next move is the FEDs.Desired Settlement: I want that [redacted] negative report completely off my credit report and before thirty day and for the Revdex.com to investigate this company criminal activies.

Review: I was in a car accident on 09/262012 apparently the billing went into collections when trying to speak with a [redacted] regarding the information they reused, hung up on me, transferred me to a dead number. Utterly refused to provide me any details on anything regarding the complaint. All I wanted was a letter to have it shown as being paid in full and to have it removed off my credit report but they refused to do that at all or even speak with a [redacted]. Something should be done regarding them they CANNOT treat people like this.Desired Settlement: I want them to change their policy about speaking with a [redacted] if a customer requests to speak with one they should be placed on the phone with one not be hung up or transferred around to different people.

Response:

Please be advised that on 6/5/2013 the consumer did speak with our [redacted] which is a [redacted] and paid the account in full. The [redacted] forwarded the request to have the item removed from the consumers credit report as a courtesy due to the consumer's confusion regarding the car accident. The request for removal was completed and submitted to the three credit reporting agencies on 6/13/13. The control number assigned to this request is [redacted]. On 6/14/2013 consumer called our office again upset that she had not received the letter of removal, she was advised the letter was mailed on 6/14/13. We offered to fax the letter to her mortgage company and consumer provided the number. We tried unsuccessfully 4 times receiving an error message each time. We tried to reach [redacted] to notify her, however there was no answer. We mailed the requested letter to the address we have on file, which [redacted] confirmed during call was correct.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted]

Thanks,

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

While it was settled they removed it off my credit report. However what they did not address is that their customer service rep [redacted] transferred me to voicemails, dead lines and a [redacted] CHAT Operator. These people should not get away with harassing people and in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act they cannot harass me and yet they did if by for no other reason by transferring me to a [redacted] chat operator. I would like them to address that issue so it does not happen to anyone else.

Review: The federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) limits where and when debt collectors can contact consumer debtors. The FDCPA prohibits debt collectors from contacting debtors at inconvenient or unusual places. Some workplaces, by their nature, are inconvenient places for debtors to take collection calls. My place of business is a school, where I am a school counselor. This debt collection agency called me at my place of business to collect on a debt when they confirmed that they had my cellular phone number on file. Since there is not a direct line to my classroom, the representative had to go through the main office secretary to be connected. She was well aware that she was calling a high school establishment.Desired Settlement: A change in unlawful practices.
