We repaired [redacted] 's eyeglasses twice, one on each side The charge for the repairs were $each, which [redacted] agreed to and paid both times When we received her frames a third time, for a re-repair of one of the parts of the frame that had been repaired previously, the frames arrived broken in a third, and separate spot from the original two If a frame is broken in a different place each time they are sent in, there is a charge for each individual repair If the same part of the frame that we have repaired previously breaks again, we provide a lifetime guarantee, and will any repair we've done before for FREE!! [redacted] thought it was "rude" that we would try and charge her again for another repair because she had already had two separate parts of the frame repaired previously She suggested that we do the third repair for free Unfortunately, we are a business who does not provide repairs for free We think we are very fair in that we provide a lifetime guarantee ON THE PARTS OF THE FRAME THAT WE REPAIR If different parts of the frame break, there would be an additional charge each timeIf you need any additional info or documentation, please advise I'd be happy to provide whatever is needed

tHE REPAIRS ON THIS ONE PAIR OF *** FRAMES WERE WAY UNDER PAR, ILT'S AS IF THE FIX ONE ARM TO THEN SABAOTAGE THE OTHER, THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY WITH NO REGARD FOR THEIR CUSTOMER I WENT FROM ON]E DETTACHED ARM TO AND THEN THEM BROKEN IN HALF,TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLEiF THEY FELT THEY COULD NOT BE REPAIRED LET THE CONSUMER KNOW AHEAD OF TIME...BEFORE THEY TAKE YOU $OVER AND OVER AGAIN, THEN JUST TO BREAK THEM IN IN HALFNOT NICE, TO SAY THE LEAST...QUITE UNBELIEVEABLE

I am writing in response to Frame Menders refusal to issue me a refundI see Brian thinks I wanted a "FREE" repair and how as a business he could not afford to do thatReally?? For starters I already paid over $for the previous repairsI sent those frames in one piece I then receive a call that they are broken in half and would need to pay for a third repair! The pictures below will show the sequence of eventsI said to Brian on the phone that coming from a business background myself, the "RIGHT" thing to do would be to fix them as a courtesy since they were not in half to begin withThe pictures will basically show thatYou would think the sequence of them would be in reverse order, but sadly they are notThis company should be named Frame Breakers, not Menders it would be much more appropriateTheir famous line is that it's still much cheaper to repair them then buying a new pairThat would be all well and fine if the repairs held up and did not incur new damages while in their handsBy the time you get through with this company you could easily have purchased new frames I hope this complaint helps consumers to not be taken advantage of in the futureI had to learn the hard waySincerely, Michele

the frames arrived broken in a third, and separate spot from the original two.  If a frame is broken in a different place each time they are sent in, there is a charge for each individual repair.  If the same part of the frame that we have repaired previously breaks again, we provide a lifetime guarantee, and will re-do any repair we've done before for FREE!!

Review: After spending $60 for a very minor repair, my glasses are in worse condition than when I brought them in. I brought the glasses in to the store due to a minor separation of two pieces of the frame. One of the pieces holds the lens, and if I pushed (and only if I pushed) on the lens the two pieces would separate. The store welded the two pieces together, however they are no longer flush, resulting in my lens being at an angle. This distorts my vision. Additionally, my glasses were returned to me with a chip in the lens, which I was told was already there even though it was not. I now need to buy a new pair of glasses because of this store's incompetence.

The person working behind the counter was extremely rude, basically called me a liar, and even had the audacity to argue that the new angle of the lens was how it was supposed to be.

The receipt did not show any tax being paidDesired Settlement: Replacement of my chipped lens and repair/replacement of the now angled frame.
