Review: Bought air conditioner on 05/2010. ON September 2012 my air conditioner stop working I call the company and on September ** 2012 he send one worker and he said that the owner will get back to me.He never call so I call a few times before he send someone on April to pick up the air conditioner.On May ** 2013 he came back with a/c and charge 217.75 for the repair.The a/c smell like gas and two weeks later the a/c was blowing smoke. I call back the company they told that the same piece that they put new the person that deliver a/c either damage the compresor or they drop the a/c.Again they took the a/c on June * they came back with air conditioner however is not working properly and I call the company he told that he was not able to do anything for me and he was going to send me a refund. Well I was expecting the amount that I paid which it was 1,113.18 I received a check for 217.75. I will like a full refund or a replacement.Desired Settlement: I will like to get a full refund or replacement. The mechanic told that the a/c is working fifty percent only. Thank you very much

[redacted] brought a/c over 3 yrs. ago.. mfg. warranty is 5 yrs. on compressor there is no warranty on exchange or refund on any room air conditioner. We pick up and brought unit to a Friedrich warranty station to repair the unit. This is logged with the mfg.(Friedrich) for the repair and the charge was $217.75

That amount was refunded back to her because the unit was still not working and I felt it was unfair to her so that is the reason for the refund. Any authorized Friedrich repair shop will honor the repair. Also unit was purchased from The Frenchmen TV Inc. which is no longer in business. My company name is similar but is not the same corporation.

The Frenchman T.V. Inc. is his father Business which they closed last year. It took the company eight months to repair the air conditioner. I don't know which one is problem with air conditioner.Both companies share the same license number [redacted]. My air conditioner came from his warehouse.
