Review: I bought a guitar, an ESP LTD PH-600 from [redacted], via [redacted] in Dec 2008, for $899. The guitar was shipped in Jan 2009. I received the guitar and decided that it was defective and returned it to the seller. The seller offered an exchange, but since I found the guitar to be defective and I didn't want to chance getting another defective guitar, I asked for a refund. The seller agreed, but said he had to wait until after tax season to send me the refund, which he did not. He then said that he would have to sell the guitar I returned before he could send me the refund. I checked his [redacted] store and he sold the guitar later that year, and yet he did not send me the refund. Eventually I figured that if Mr. [redacted] did not have the $ an exchange would be better than nothing, so we corresponded about him sending me various guitars that he never followed through with. I periodically checked in with him, trying to be polite and patient, and yet he still never sent me a guitar. Finally I looked on his [redacted] page and picked one of the guitars he had listed and told him I would settle for that. He responded saying that he didn't own any of those guitars and he didn't have the money to buy one and send to me. However, since he sold the ESP LTD PH-600 guitar that I returned to him, I believe he should have had the $.In our latest correspondence, Mr. [redacted] wrote: "I am working on this. I am at least cancer free, but still have the mass which they are not taking out, since I have no medical benefits at the present time. Thank you for your concern, and need your prayers as well... including settling your refund."Mr. [redacted] has given me a wide variety of excuses over the years. Now he wanted me to pray for my refund?I believe that Mr. [redacted] has been leading me on about sending me a refund or replacement guitar. Due to his positive feedback on [redacted], I took him at his word.I have electronic records of all email correspondence with Mr. [redacted] since Dec 2008.Desired Settlement: $899 + $53 shipping = $952 paid to my paypal account or by bank check. I would also settle for:ESP LTD Deluxe EC 1000 T-CTM gloss black guitar with the Gator LP case that he currently as of 10/**/13 5pm PST on his [redacted] store site.I would very much prefer the refund so he doesn't send me another defective guitar or deliberately send me a defective guitar.
