Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: They never mentioned an "hourly rate" they only said $500-$TOTAL, then they wanted to add a "research fee" I told them I did not agree with that, since they are supposed to know what to do if they are professionals I did not ask them to proceed, when I sent my documents was for them to tell me if they had experience with cases like mineI never asked them to prepare my taxes, I never signed a contract or retainer which I would expect to sign if I am hiring someone And no, I do not expect free services but I do not expect a bill from I service that was not provided because there was no agreement And lastly, I am not "defaming them over the internet" I am only seeking help from the Revdex.com In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

*** *** called our firm to ask for legal tax adviceWe told her we would charge her based on our hourly rates and we provided a fee quote*** *** may not have been happy with that, but she asked us to proceed anyway, which we didAfter giving her a phenomenal answer to her questions after reviewing the law and her legal documents, *** *** asked us to prepare her tax returns and provided the necessary documents via email to do so.*** *** obviously wanted to receive our services free of charge, which we will not allow to happenWe attempted to discuss her concerns regarding our invoice before she decided that defaming us over the internet was her preferred negotiation tacticHopefully she will pay her invoice quickly, or we will take legal action very soon. If *** *** wishes to discuss this further, she should feel free to contact us directly

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They never mentioned an "hourly rate" they only said $500-$700 TOTAL, then they wanted to add a "research fee" I told them I did not agree with that, since they are supposed to know what to do if they are professionals.  I did not ask them to proceed, when I sent my documents was for them to tell me if they had experience with cases like mine. I never asked them to prepare my taxes, I never signed a contract or retainer which I would expect to sign if I am hiring someone.  And no, I do not expect free services but I do not expect a bill from I service that was not provided because there was no agreement.  And lastly, I am not "defaming them over the internet" I am only seeking help from the Revdex.com.

[redacted] first approached our firm in February 2016 with questions regarding a tax law question she had. We discussed her facts, reviewed a number of documents she provided and conducted research to confirm our conclusions related to certain income and how it should be treated, given [redacted]...

particular facts. We explained that we would be doing this research and the reasons it was necessary. [redacted] had previously agreed to our proposed fee for this legal work to be performed. After reviewing her documents we provided our conclusion in April in an email. [redacted] was happy and then asked us to prepare her tax returns, expanding the scope of work to be performed beyond the original agreement. We prepared her returns including the additional information she provided via email in early April, and we emailed her on April 12th with final questions, notifying her that her returns were almost complete, and would be ready to file once we received her answers. At this point she notified us that she wanted to file jointly with her husband and that he would be filing an extension because they did not have all of his documentation. After April 15th, we followed up several times to finish the returns, but never received the information necessary to do so. Now, [redacted] has come up with a story that is inaccurate and inconsistent with her own email trail regarding the work she asked us to do. The returns were not filed because she did not furnish us with the final p ieces of information to do so. However, the returns were prepared and made ready for filing in April and the legal research was done and answers provided as agreed upon.
