Review: On 3/8/14 I dropped off 2 chairs to be repaired. They are close to 75 years old and they hold sentimental value to me they have been passed down through 3 generations, they belong to a complete dining room set. They have spindle legs and spindle bars that hold them together. They were to reglue the 4 base spindles and 3 base bars. When I got them home on 3/16/14 I was appalled at the quality of work. Not only is the glue sticking out on all the areas they glued you can also see where they drilled holes and made scratches with tools (they did not repair the holes or the scratches). Also on all of the spindles you can see where they are all sticking out from the holes they should of fit back into. There are notches on the spindles that you can see where they should fit back in to be flush. Its like they did not scrap out the old glue but just filled in with large amounts of new glue that oozed out in blobs and dried. All of the holes scratches and bars that are sticking out should of been stained to match. This is not professional work, it is not what I paid for. On 3/16/14 I spoke to 2 different employees and per their request I brought the chairs back to be looked at, the 2 employees stated that they could see the problems and they understood our concerns. She assured me that I would be contacted by the owner on Monday 3/17/14. No one called. On 3/18/14 we called again and the same employee pretended to be someone else. We were given the run around multiple times. I told her I wanted my money back and she kept making excuses. On 3/20/14 I picked up my chairs again, With all the lies and games I did not want my chairs in their possession. Again we were assured we would be contacted by 3/24/14. As of today 3/24/14 I have not been contacted. I do not want them to touch my chairs again, I do not trust their company or their workers. My chairs are too important to me, when I saw the inferior work I cried, these chairs are literally irreplaceable.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for the inferior work for which I paid $160.50.
