Review: In December of 2013 , I met [redacted] he's is the [redacted] of The Garage Auto Repair . In [redacted], I met him I explained to him that this is the first time I hire a mechanic he was recommended to me as soon as I met him I felt secured that I could trust him. I have a 2002 Honda civic that recently had a transmission problem I asked him if he could change the transmission and make it work . He told me yes the whole nine yards well I believed him and trusted him paid him $1400.00 in total he told me he was going to change transmission , add new fluid and anything there is wrong with it he would tell me. About two weeks later the car was ready he called me to go and inspection it I did. My husband drove it and it was fine he only drove it down 1 block. I told him [redacted] are you sure this car is good? he said your good to go you have a good car he did not show me any piece that he changed on my car or the work he did on my car.[redacted] the [redacted] dropped the car off to my house I turned on the car and as soon as I did that the car was shaking and before it was not like that. I called him he said that it had another piece damaged that I would have to pay approx 600.00 to have it fixed. I parked the car then in march I put insurance on the car and 5 min after using it the transmission went out on it . I called him and he had me waiting 2 weeks. I had a mechanic come to my house and told me that it was never changed the transmission.he came to my house and wanted to tow my car with a rope attached to his car. I told him not to do that to have a tow truck pick it up. I waited 1 week for him to have it picked up. after that I kept calling asking were is my car he always lied to me telling me for 3 weeks on friday it will be ready. when I hired an attorney to file a claim towards him the end of april he is failing to return my car or let me go pick it up he wants me to pay him for the 3 weeks he had the car while in the receipt he clearly gave me 1 year towards any defects.Desired Settlement: He should not lie , and he should keep his word on the guarantees be more professional, I want him to tell the truth of what he really did on my car [redacted] you damaged my car it went in starting with out shaking or noises and know you don't return it and had other people work on it all over town you told me this and still tell me that I should pay you for the damages you did on it you did not keep your guarantee you are a scam ... I called you on march **,2014 its April **,2014 I want my car & $$$
