I contacted Aqualawn's owner today with a question regarding my irrigation system, which he serviced last yearI had been informed that the company no longer supported well-operated systems and consequently found another service providerThis new provider encountered a problem and in order to troubleshoot it, we jointly called Mr [redacted] to kindly ask for his inputTo my surprise, he was very disrespectful and rude, and also insulted my ability to understand the issues at handThis, especially after I paid him upwards of $1,last year for his services, and an ever larger sum to his sister company, The Grounds Guys (for lawn renovation services)Ultimately, I felt compelled to end the conversation without his input (which he refused to provide) due to the inappropriate treatment and unfortunate experience

On 10/8/*** *** came in requesting to get her car fixed due to an accident that occurred on 10/1/We had her fill out a direction to pay and I faxed it to *** which is a *** *** fax number.*** then stated that she has some other issues with her car and
asked if it was worth fixing or should she just take the money from the accident and use it for a down payment on a new carWe then took a quick look at the car and gave her an estimate on the mechanical damages that we could see at that timeWe told her that her car did not have that many mechanical issues and that it was definitely worth fixing the mechanical issues as well as the body work.A few days later *** let me know that her boyfriend rather pay for the mechanical work than purchase a new car.Time went by and *** let me know that she wanted to use the money from the insurance check to fix the mechanical work and that she would be going to Hawaii on 1/4/*** also let me know that in addition to what we noticed before that she had an oil leakWhen we got the car we took it apart to write a supplement for additional damageWe faxed the request for the supplementIn the intern we fixed the mechanical problems as requested by ***(hoses on moonroof were leaking, Brake Pads, Rotors, Tire Rotation, TPMS Sensor, Oil Filter Housing Cap(Due to the Oil Leak)) We also replaced the qts of oil at no charge and bent back her front brake backing plates because they were rubbing (At no Charge) .When *** Came back from vacation the appraiser had not yet been out for the supplement and her car was in our spray booth While explaining this to *** the Appraiser walked through the doorWe had explained to *** that we were willing to pay for her rental so we could finish the job, but she and her boyfriend declined and they said they just wanted to take the car back and would bring it back another timeAt that time we explained this to the appraiser and he put the job on hold until we had the car back in our shopThen we put her car back together and sent them on their way.About to minutes later I receive a text message from *** telling me that her car was shaking and the check engine light was going on, at that time I advised her to pull over and call *** and have the car towed back to the shopTo the best of my knowledge she just continued driving the car back to her house in GloucesterWhen She arrived home she text me letting me know that she was home and asked what she should doI proceeded to tell her that she should call *** and have it towed back to our shop to check it out to see what was wrong with itShe then told me that her mother had *** but she had no tows leftAfter speaking to *** and letting him know what had happened he had me call one of our mechanics that happened to live in Gloucester and have him take a look at itAfter *** our mechanic went to her house to look at her car it had been determined that there was something wrong with the engine, After speaking to *** we then decided that we The Garage would send a tow truck up to her house to have it towed back to the garage.Upon receiving the car back and after inspection of the car via plug in diagnostics it was determined that they needed a new set of Spark plugs an ignition coil and a plenum gasket(Her car was reading a misfire) We let *** what had been found and assured her that it was nothing we did to cause thisthat when fixing brakes and leaky moon roof hoses that nothing was done to her engine whatsoever and that things like this are completely unforeseenWe also gave them an estimate as to what it would cost to fixI told *** because she had no money that *** was willing to take payments on the repair workBetween her and her boyfriend they decided that they did not want us to fix the car, At that time I asked *** what she wanted me to do as far as having the adjuster come out and write the supplement on the carAfter going over numbers with her for the repair and for the Deductible that would have been owed to us she decided that she was going to take the car somewhere elseShe did not quite understand that she also had to pay for her deductible because liability for the accident was determined that she was at faultI them explained to her the process of the deductible and she asked if she had to call the insurance company to cancel the direction to payI then told her that I would do that for her and I then called the insurance company and let them know that we were no longer fixing her car and to cancel the Direction to pay as well as the appraiser.*** then told me that they would be in Saturday to pick up her carUpon my arrival Monday back to work after the weekend I noticed *** never picked up her carI then Text her and she said that she and her boyfriend would be coming in to talk to *** about her carWhen they came in later that week to talk about the car her boyfriend became very irate they also said that they wanted us to fix the carAnd at that point *** refused service and let them know that they needed to pick up their car. When they went out to their car they had noticed something that was black on the handle of the passenger side rear door*** let them know that he wasn't too sure what it was but that he could have It taken off real easily and her boyfriend began yelling at him not to touch it and that he was going to call the police..Shortly there after the police arrived at the Garage to take statements from us regarding this matter. This matter has been forwarded to our lawyer, *** has been very inconsistent in her stories to us as well as what has been stated in this complaintWe also have pages of text messages that confirms all that is said in The Garage's Statement

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments belThe vehicles Ac was not repairedThe vehicle ac lines in the rear were leaking and you clamped them off so the rear ac will not work then recharged it and a week later it stopped workingThe extended warty that you sold only covers certain thingsI have had those items repairedThe warty did not cover the rear backing plates that were rotted right off the vehicleIt takes a few years for this to happen and was like that when you sold me the vehicleWe had to have the rear axles pulled apart and replace the backing plates with the rear brakesI can understand the front brakes, but not the rearAlso the rear arm that was rotted off the vehicle had to been like that for a few yearsThis was all checked at three other shops and every tech agrees that this vehicle had rotted parts that have been like this for a few yearsAlso, just and FYI the warty that you sold me does not cover ac parts.

I have in fact reached out to the garage I called ***s cell phone directly and the call was not picked up, I called the office distrot becuase I again could have killed myself or someone else driving this wreck of a car that you all call safe and was offered assistance in buying a new car not fixing this one, at this point I have made it clear I do not have warranty info or I would have taken care of it myself you are welcome to email that to me at *** or mail it to * *** *** *** * *** ** *** but at this point its clear you aren't even reading my responses because the fact I have spoken to *** was in the last response and you were also the person who picked up the call and made sure he got on the phone when I was upset that I had no breaks and almost hit a truck and a copI am really at this point frustrated and annoyed do you at all think its possible with the numerous complaints against the garage to step up to the fact that you all are shady and sell unsafe cars and just help me out so that I can safely drive and not worry about killing anyone or dying your attempts to put this on me are ridiculous especially since I can furnish cell phone bills showing my calls to the business and clearly not being helped or I wouldn't be wasting time here continually complaining about the same issues they would already be resolvedRegards,

The consumer does still have her warranty and she has the copy of that informationAll she needs to do is have garage call the warranty companyShe may want to call that warranty company and she if they would refund her for any parts regarding regarding the initial issue she was havingI don't understand why she still has not reached out to us

This is in response to the above-referenced complaint. Ms*** did purchase a *** *** on December 20, from The Garage, *** *** **., ***, ** ***. Included in the Transaction were both the State and Federal day/1,mile Limited Used
Vehicle Warranties. In addition, Ms*** purchased a *** *** Warranty which is for years or 24,miles The Vehicle passed Mass Safety Vehicle Inspection on December 22, and received a mass sticker(See Attached #1) Ms*** stated that she complained of a wheel bearing /hub bearing noise problem. These items are clearly covered under her warranty Sub Title and brake components are covered in Sub Title (See Attached #2) At this point in time she is clearly out of Mass Warranty and is still covered under her *** *** Warranty depending on the mileage on the car. If Ms*** is interested in pursuing a claim against her Warranty Co., ***, her salesperson, would be happy to assist in helping her. We have been in the business for over years and feel the automobile we sold her was safe and in good driving condition. Again, we will offer our help in assisting her with the Warranty Co. Sincerely, *** ***

On March 23rd, 2015 we sold a 2002 [redacted] Envoy with 94,720 miles on it to [redacted] of [redacted] in [redacted], Mass. This vehicle passed inspection and received a sticker. The vehicle was sold with a 30 day or 1250 mile (which comes first) statutory warranty. The vehicle also was sold with...

a 3yr or 1250 mile Miles Extended Plus warranty which is still in effect and covers some of the items that are being complained about and may have already been repaired. The vehicle was brought back to our shop on two occasions after the statutory warranty had expired for sunroof and air condition repair. Repair order show these items were fixed with no charge. The vehicle was never brought to our shop for brake or front end work. At this point in time the 30day/1250 statutory warranty has expired and we suggest they contact their warranty company for covering their complaints.

Revdex.com:
I reject this becuase as I lost my breaks in traffic and almost crashed, I called [redacted] and asked what we could do, would we be able to fix it or get me into another car, he said bring him my most recent pay stubs and he would work on it, nothing about a warrenty or anything, I called again from the garage in tears about the amount to fix the breaks no mention of help or fixing it, at all.   I months prior showed up at the garage with the bad wheel bearing and wheel bearing hub and they said it would be 200 plus to fix it and I would have to leave the car until they were able to get through the work load they had, I had no way to get home, and no ability to rent a car. I asked to use a loaner while they fixed the car and was told they don't do that, which is a lie as the week [redacted] initially held my 500 dollar deposit I had not even signed a contract to own a car he was just working on getting me one, I was given a car off the lot to drive until he was able to, so clearly the garage is bending rules when it applies to them and not the customer, I have receipts for all the work I have paid for to date, and I not only want to be reimbursed for that, but I want the current issues the lack of breaks still and the break light being on which I am told is a master cylinder fixed, I want a loaner car while its being done since I can't lose my job based on the garages inability to sell quality cars, I explained clearly to [redacted] my kids ride in this car every single day, one or all of us could have died when I lost breaks and [redacted] not once offered to help with the warranty or making arrangements to fix the car knowing I was at the shop... I don't want mechanics from a place who sold me a car with dangerous implications fixing my car, so if they step up and work with me to either put me in a safe car as I have stopped paying for this death trap and or fix it and allow me to have a loaner and then have it fixed at a place of my chosing then I would be satisfied, If this car causes me to be in an accident because of having no breaks, and I am forced to drive it as I am a single mother with a job, and no ability to not work then I will be holding the garage responsible, there is no reason you as a car dealer can not make sure I am in a safe car, I have bad credit which is why I came there, which is why I allowed you to hold hundreds of dollars of money I didn't have to spare for over a week before I was even promised a car, however that does not mean I deserve to be sold an unsafe car, and it doesn't mean that you as a dealer can mold the rules or change information from when I call you directly and you don't have a way to help me, to when I report you to the Revdex.com and request mediation there has to be a fair middle ground but for the garage fair is what benefits them and its disgusting I am attaching pictures of the severity of the break damage on a car you say passed inspection, and if I can't get a proper fair resolution either the fix at a garage of my choice and a loaner or you to give me a loaner you fix it but allow me to inspect it at a garage of my chosing or you plain out finance me into a safe car that I will have inspected at my own garage then I will be forced to find alternate action and if the unsafe condition of this car contributes to my loss of employment then I will be suing the garage not only for the value of the car but for punitive damages as well. this is honestly ridiculous

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
My comments regarding why I did not want to accept the businesses response is because they did not address the most important complaint- They cashed the insurance check from [redacted] on October 16, 2015 three days after the check was issued and  before any repairs were scheduled. They deceitfully had me sign over direction of the check without informing me that they were not a preferred shop in respect to [redacted]. They also cashed this check long before anything was scheduled, I didn't not bring my car to The Garage until January 3rd, 2016. In December 2015 I addressed the status of the check with [redacted] and she said she still had the check and not to worry about it. Ultimately they kept the insurance check that was specifically for cosmetic repairs covered in the appraisal by [redacted].

We have taken our car to Kwik Kar several times. In fact we took ourcar to Kwik Kar and a different place told us we needed an Alternator. Kwik Kar said their was nothing wrong with our Alternator and didnt charge us anything. They are honest mechanics which is rare these days. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a car repair. They will not fix something if it isn't truelly broken.

Review: We took our vehicle to The Garage in [redacted] PA to get a head gasket repair. It took them approximately 1 month and $1300 to do the repair. After that the timing belt had to be replaced, then a huge oil leak all within a matter of 5 months.A different mechanic fixed the timing belt($240) and stated that whoever repaired the head gasket didn't bother tightening the belt. The oil leak was huge so we got the car towed to The Garage, and again it took 2 weeks for them to even look at the car. When they did, they did a repair, but stated they couldn't fix the leak (charged me $160). My 17 year old daughter was driving it around with this tremendous leak until we took it to the other mechanic that fixed the timing belt. He found the leak in 5 minutes. Again he said it was from the head gasket repair, the cam seal wasn't properly put back($230). He proceeded to tell me what a mess The Garage made of the car by not repairing the head gasket correctly.Desired Settlement: Repairs and towing costs$800.00

Review: I paid the garage over $500 to install a coolant fan in my jeep while I was in labor. Shortly after returning to work my car over heated and my radiator went out. My brother in law who was repairing the radiator noticed after removing the radiator that the coolant fan was left unplugged. I was left to sit in a broken down vehicle in freezing weather with a two month old baby. When I called the garage they said it's not possible.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and a full refund
