Thank you for helping me resolve this matterThe business never told the designer about the store policy and they did not inform me over the phone about the policy If there is a no return or exchange policy then they should have informed me over the phone when I purchased it with my credit card, or else informed my designer No one was informed verbally, there is just small print on the second page of the stapled receipt, which I did not see until it arrived with the urns at my homeIn addition, they told me the urns were made of concrete They are not concrete, but cast iron The pictures were not good enough for me to be able to determine that they were not concrete until they came to my house The Garden Spot assumes that seeing a picture means that the customer is absolutely sure they want the item, but people buy things in catalogues all the time and then when they get home realize they are not appropriate They cannot assume that just because I saw a picture means that they did not have to inform me of the return policy If I had known that there were no returns or exchanges I would have made absolutely sure they were what I wanted before spending $
Because they told me they were selling me something different than what they actually sold me, and because they never informed me or anyone else working with me about their return policy, I feel they should allow me to exchange the urns I would actually like to return the urns because I do not like them and I wish I never had to enter that store again after being treated so rudely However, in an effort to compromise I am willing to accept an exchangeThanks again for this service Regardless of the outcome, it was a great relief to know I had somewhere to turn after having such an awful experience with a store

Review: I purchased two urns over the phone from this business. They told me they were on sale because they were made of concrete. My gardener picked up the urns for me from The Garden Spot. When they got to my house I realized they were not appropriate and that they were not made of concrete, but of cast iron. My gardener called to make sure someone would be available to help her unload the urns from the truck upon returning them the next day. She was informed that all sales are final. I called the sales associate who sold them to me to ask her why they were not returnable. I was told that "all sales are final" is printed upon the receipt. However, I purchased the urns over the phone and was never informed of this policy. Also, the receipt was two stapled pages and the statement "all sales final" was hidden on the second page. When trying to discuss the issue further, the sales associate hung up on me. I went to The Garden Spot to try and reason with them. I was told again that "all sales are final" but another associate offered to give me a store credit. I was disappointed but was ready to accept store credit. Then he rescinded the offer of store credit unless I picked out something immediately. I said I was not ready to pick something out since I needed to look around at home before selecting another product. The urns were worth $600.00 so I would need to select something equivalent. He stated aggressively that unless I picked something immediately I could forgot about any exchange. He was angry with me for asking for a return and stated that 90% of "this funny business" was eliminated when they started printing "all sales are final" on receipts. I do not think asking to return a product is funny business, but the normal part of any business. Also since I purchased the urns over the phone I did not see the receipt. I did not ask in a rude way but was treated very disrespectfully by both employees. They were irate that I would even suggest a return, and the second associate suggested that if I could spend $600.00 without being absolutely sure of the purchase then $600.00 must not mean a lot to me. I do not understand why I was treated so rudely or pressured to immediately select an exchange. When I refused to select something immediately he told me to forgot any resolution.Desired Settlement: I understand that credit cards charge this business for transactions so I am willing to accept store credit with a reasonable expiration date, i.e. six months or a year.
