Contrary to the complainants statements, we offered to replace the "allegedly" dead plant on two two separate occasions according to the terms of their contractWe also agreed to Revdex.com's offer to conduct a arbitration meeting with this individual He refused to participate in resolving his concerns Instead of coming forward in the light of God, he prefers to work in the shadows spread mean spirited and untrue statements in order to hurt others
We are working in what is predominately a retirement community We try to give deference to our aging clients As such, we forgive this individual for his actions and hope he gets the medical help he needs to become a productive member of our community
We are very busy with several good customers so please publish this response We will not entertain any further comments from this individual and consider the matter closed

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  To summarize, what is the nature of our complaint about the Gardens of Port Townsend?  We have asked to be reimbursed for a tree that was dying when planted and was observed dead 2 months later by the owner of the company which was within the contract scope of time for replacement of the tree.  We paid The Gardens $152 for the tree and we were willing to plant it ourselves.  This is after paying said firm $15,000 for landscaping our new home.  This is how, according to the business owner, we are attempting to line our pockets with money. 
The main complaint has to do with the owner of the business's substandard work ethics, a mean and judgemental attitude, and his inability to accept responsibility.  This is self evident in his condescending and falsely magnanimous response.  Yes, there are retired folks in Port Townsend and they need to know that there are those that will take advantage no matter what one's age.   Sincerely,[redacted]

As evidenced by the response of the proprietor of The Gardens at Port Townsend, it is still apparent that he will continue his non-acceptance of any accountability for our specific concerns and our issues as former clients of his business.  He also continues to resort to disparaging comments about us as clients while not addressing the facts of our complaint.  Therefore we will continue to assume that nothing has changed in his position toward our ongoing complaints against him.  Our main objective is to have information available to the public as it concerns his business attitude and practices in our particular experience with him.  Allowing the public an opportunity for an informed choice is always a benefit.
