BEWARE OF GEORGE "THE LIAR" HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN
My good friend found this attorney online and sought out legal services for a tough financial situation she was inShe went to his office in Brooklyn and gave him money to pursue the caseAlthough very personable in the consultation, this attorney had poor responsivenessIn the weeks following the visit she could never get him on the phoneShe left tons of messages on his personal phone and voice service, not once did he ever get back to her to follow up on the caseGeorge EVENTUALLY got back to her and stated that she would have to pay him additional money to move her case to the top of his priorities - WTF????
My friend decided to discontinue his services, after receiving no service, and requested a refund for the monies she had paid himAfter hearing his promises to return the money, but not seeing it happen, she contacted her bank and got the charges reversedMonths after this, the bank sent her a letter stating that The Gilmer Law Firm disputed the charges, leaving her bank account Overdrawn by almost $1,Smh
She now has to jump through multiple hoops to get this issue resolved with him and the bank after all these months, which is particularly distressing because she has all these expenses to cover for her son's prom and graduationMoney she doesn't haveHe had no right to dispute charges for which he NEVER provided a service
I would NOT recommend this attorneySHAME ON HIM for his shady business practicesYou don't do this to people, especially people who you feel are vulnerable and have no voiceOur friend is filing an official complaint with the NYS BarBEWARE
