The apartment complex had my car towed for no registration. I have valid registration on the car. I communicated this and asked for a refund.
My car was towed for no valid registration on the 26th. I told the apartment complex that my registration was paid for on the 19th and mailed on the 24 th. So it did not arrive at that time. But according to Texas I had valid registration. I put a note and the recipes on the windshield just Incase someone was looking. I had to walk to work. I went to get my car and the rude agency that towed it was Texas impound services in Plano. They were very rude and aggressive and said it didn't matter. They said I should of called them ahead of time. They would not let my car go for under $299. I called the apartment complex and explained it. They said I should of called them ahead of time so they would not of not towed it. I explained that I didn't know that and I had valid registration and put a receipt on the car. They only called the tow agency after I had gotten the car back. They said the agency would of reduced the price but since I got it out they wouldn't. This is completely wrong since they flat out refused me. I have since asked for a refund or rent credit. They said no and refused to make this right.

Desired Outcome

Refund or rental credit for the $299 tow fee.

Contract dispute. They are not letting me out easy.
I have lived at this apartment complex for two years. The last year it went downhill and I wanted out. Their rate of increase for rent was more than I could handle and it wasn't worth the problems I've had with the apartment. I was told they would be bug control but I never got it unless I asked for it the second year but they were still always bugs. I do not think who they've hired actually do their job I have lived at this apartment complex for two years. The last year it went downhill and I wanted out. Their rate of increase for rent was more than I could handle and it wasn't worth the problems I've had with the apartment. I was told it would be bug control but I never got it unless I asked for it the second year but they were still always bugs. I do not think who they've hired actually do their job. I have an immuno deficiency so having bugs around that could carry disease is not good for me. When I try to leave at the end of my contract which is August 31 I attempted to let the office know if that was my intention. I spoke to a woman named Devon when I first was letting them know around the end of June start of July which would have been my 60 day notice of leave. But I was never given anything or told I had to fill out a form. Around this same time I had a bed bug infestation and was fighting the complex to get it treated. If they had properly been treating for bugs I bet they would not have entered. I spoke to Devan again asking what the list of things I needed to do entailed to remove bugs and I did everything she said to do but per the bug guys... it wasn't good enough. So they never sprayed. Once again I am saying their contract for bug treatment is bogus. I was on my way out so I thought so when I went in to complaine about a broken ac(which by the way broke because ants destroyed the inner workings) I mentioned the bugs where not sprayed for and I got in trouble for breaking contract for refusing treatment and was told I was responsible for every appointment infested. I ne asked as well as I never gave my 60 day notice. Fast forward now to August 29 I get billed for the whole month of September at the monthly rate I did not agree to plus 200 for my bed bug treatment. I go up to the office saying I will pay for the bugs but I gave my notice in written form on July 15 (due to Devon not telling me I had to earlier) they never put it in the system. Now they are telling me I am required writhing contract to give them that 60 days and are going to charge me for the days outside my form. -about 15 days- I spoke with a women named Janice but she told me to speak to a women named Elizabeth who would just -email me... I can not handle this anymore.

Desired Outcome

I want released from my contract with no extra charges On August 31.

Resolved August 31 2018

Repairs on refrigerator not complete, repairs on door not complete, false advertisement of fitness center that was not available throughout tenancy.
4/22/18-Sliding door would not secure, 4/24/18 Maint said could not fix would have to notify mgmnt. 1-2" gap in top of door. 5/29-arrived home, a/c running hot, bath tub knob would not turn off, fridge off, all food spoiled. Maint fixed bathtub, to return next day for A/C. 5/30/18 reported issues, a/c, fridge, it had been off all day 5/29 and when I left for work o 5/30, and door still not repaired. 5/30-pm, Maint met my mom, fixed A/C, looked at fridge but it had come back on, and said he had not been there to repair it, said would come back, and looked at door, said I need a order to repair, we already had one. 6/3- made rent payment, asked again about repair on fridge, and door. Ray told us door maint ticket was closed on 4/25/18, indicating "foundation issues". A/C running overtime to cool as door will not shut/latch. Requested they fix door and find out what is wrong with fridge. 6/10/18-after 2 missed dates, Maint arrived, 1/2 hour before, so my mom had not arrived yet, said he checked breaker and outlet for fridge, nothing wrong. (less than 5 minutes, and I was down stairs when he went up). 6/11/18 was scheduled to fix door, then told my mom no record of appointment. My mom went o apartment complex, said he would fix it himself at 6:pm. My mom asked about fridge, he said it is working. She wants to know why it went off and then started next day. He told her he could check breaker and outlet if she wanted. She said he reported that he had already done that the previous day. he arrived 6pm, for door only, 2+ hours, thought he made door worse, then got it to latch. And called it as fixed. (Sliding door still had gap at top allowing in hot air, but locks now). 6/12 my mom called GE inquiring about fridge, said it was discontinued in 1997, it could be having issues. 6/13- we spoke with Lety, about issues on door, refrigerator and not having had access to fitness center for 10 months. She said she would have Electrician scheduled. Fitness center she indicated had been planned remodel, and tenants were notified last summer. My mom told her that I moved in mid=August, and fitness center was advertised, and I told her that no one told me that it was being re-modeled. She told me that we could have gone to local gym for $30.00 monthly. My mom told her that they had falsely advertised a fitness center knowing that it was unavailable, to entice potential tenants. She said, that she does not control that but they have a right to change amenities. My mom told her THEN you cannot advertise them, but you continued to. btwn 6/15-6/17, fridge had been off again, as ice was melted and refroze in my ice tray, however I was away camping so not sure what date. Went through new managers, my mom notified them that no electrician has been seen, now 7/10/18, she included City Code Enforcement. They sent electrician to check for "Possible Short" to ensure electric to fridge was safe, they did not tell him frdg gos off.He checked brker, outlet, and amperage on frdge circuit. Did not find out if he had been there until 3 days later as Breaker Panel had undisturbed dust, and no notification left. My mom indicated that the issue is not fixed. New Manager said that they have sent electrician, he said nothing wrong, and dismissed further obligation, noting "normal defrost cycle. The problem is that in checking the "amperage on fridge" while it is running the output would be normal, however the fridge shuts down long enough to make EVERYTHING warm, including items in freezer. This is a problem. I move out in a couple of weeks, but there are still problems in this apartment that need resolved. I was compensated for a portion of my food by Lety, and one month on A/C with door issue, however these issues continue. That with not having had access to the fitness center for 10.5 months, and their placing a$30.00 per month at local fitness center price tag on it, I feel that I should be compensated, as well as for additional electrical cost, and spoiled foods.

Desired Outcome

The amenities are now available for the new tenants, but were not available for me, yet advertised throughout. This apartment needs the sliding door repaired correctly, along with the wall next to it where Jose and his helpers repeatedly hit while working on the door. Still an issue with the fridge, or electric. Checking amperage while fridge is on, would be normal, the problem is it does resolve why the fridge shuts down. With no access to advertised fitness center, I would like a $300. credit, additionally, for the TEXAS heat still coming in my apartment through gap in door that was reported Apr 22, I would like an additional $65.00 to compensate my electric bill
