The Glen At Highpoint Apartments

The company has refused to respond to my faulty air conditioning since I reported on Tuesday. I have a small baby in the house and we are forced to seek refuge elsewhere. Room temperature is averaging 95 degrees. The house is also full of cockroaches since I moved in newly in February 2019. They have also declined to have them sprayed. My kitchen burners are not functioning, the bedroom ceiling fan is almost falling off. All my requests for repair have fallen to a deaf ear. The house is no longer livable. Please assist. Thanks

My complaint is actually twofold. I went through an incredibly difficult process with the leasing office, which resulted in me having to scramble to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute. The leasing representative kept telling me that she was waiting for her manager to approve my application packet for multiple days at hand. I didn't receive a call informing me that I was approved to move in until after the close of business on the day that I was scheduled to move into my apartment. I expressed my displeasure with their poor customer service and asked to be compensated for the inconvenience (I informed her that this would be the only way that I would lease the apartment). The representative assured me that she would get back to me by noon the next day. She didn't. I then called the office the next day to inquire about picking up my check for the application, because I would be leasing an apartment somewhere else. I was told by a different leasing representative that it wouldn't be necessary. I asked for the application file to be terminated since I no longer desired to lease with the apartment. The check was cashed, even though they told me that they wouldn't. This was the single most awful renting experience that I'd ever gone through in order to lease an apartment. The management was never available. The leasing representative was not helpful. The office is unethical and very unprofessional.
