[redacted] bought a countertop with us and made it clear that he wanted to use only one slab of quartz to do his counter in order to avoid some extra fees in case he used slabs. After measurements were taken we called and informed him that the only way to do it was adding another seam on the counter and he agreed with itSeams are visible and you can feel them and it was also explained to himOn the day of install he wasn't there ( when he should and arrangements were made for him to be there and fit his schedule, so his wife ( [redacted] ) was present and signed all the paperwork confirming she was happy with install ) On the next day he called and we agreed to send someone back to have a look at it and see what could be done to satisfy the customerAs the professional explained him all the issues he was complaining could be fixed but [redacted] refuses to let us do it because he thinks that the job wouldn't be done properly. We never refused to fix any issue and we tried to go there and do it a couple of times but [redacted] doesn't want itWe can go back and fix any issue any time but we need his approval to let us go back.We can't replace the countertop or refund the full amount just because the customer regrets a choice he has made.We look forward to solve the matter on the proper way

We from The Granite Shop have sold many many kitchens of the material used on this project ( Mercury Light ), we never had a complaint about scratches or any other thing regarding the materialThis kitchen was installed on March 30th and when we didn't leave the house until they were happy with the
resultOwners and manager went to the house to make sure everything was done rightThere was never a refusal on any type of serviceKeep in mind that Granite is scratch resistant not scratch proof. Also all counter tops are sealed at the shop and after the granite is put on placeThe durability of the sealer depends on how you take care of it ( how you clean it ) and it's ideal to reseal it every now and then. There are many ways to avoid scratches but it all depends on how you take care of it.There's no warranty for Granite since it is a natural stoneWe do secure customers that everything will be done properly during installation and if anything happens during the process is our responsibility and we do guarantee a high end quality. It has been months since it was installed so the problem is probably maintenance. If you have any questions let us know.Thank you

On the day of the install I was at home waiting for them to arrive in the morning like we agreed upon. They were running late and I had to get to work so my wife was there.  We did try to resolve this with them.  We were told not all the issues were fixable. [redacted] and I were trying to set up a date for removal of the counter. On Friday December 29th the owner of the Granite Shop called me at work. She was harassing and tiresome on the phone. At that point I no longer wanted to deal with this company.  Regards,
