*** concerns with The Green Paw and the opportunity to address themWe did groom Ms*** Australian Sheppard (Aussie), *** on March 30, The original appointment to groom *** was for the Friday March 27, but had to be rescheduled due to our groomer's illnessIf appointments need to be rescheduled for any reason, as this one did, we call our customers the day before their appointment to inform them and to schedule another time that will work for themOn Thursday as we were calling our Friday appointments, Ms*** called our store to verify her appointmentWe informed Ms*** of our groomer's illness at this time and asked her if we could reschedule her appointment for MondayMs*** said that she could bring her dog in on Monday and we said that we looked forward to meeting *** then
Ms*** arrived at our store a little before her scheduled appointment on March so that she could review and complete the new customer paperwork prior to the groomWe informed Ms*** that it generally takes 1/to hours to groom an Aussie, but that the dog's temperament and condition could extend that timeWe also like to allow a little bit of extra time with first time grooms like this so that the dog has a chance to get used to their surroundings and the groomerThe price to bathe and brush a dog like Gypsy is $and $for a standard groomShaving a dog down can increase the cost of the groom
Ms*** said that she did not want a basic groomShe asked to have *** completely shaved down to 3/of an inchI informed her that shaving a dog down like that would take more timeMs*** agreed to the 1/to hour time frame that I gave her for thisAfter completing the groom, I still only charged Ms*** a total of $(basic groom price minus $new customer discount)
I completed *** groom in 1/hours and believe that she looked great when it was doneI brought *** to the front of the shop to Ms*** and told her that the groom went well and that *** was an angelMs*** didn't really answer when I asked her if the groom came out as she had wantedI left Ms*** and *** with our cashier and headed to our groom area to work on the next dog
A few minutes later our cashier called me back up front to talk with Ms*** who had grown quite angryMs*** then told me that she thought that I had provided terrible customer serviceWhen I asked what she was referring to, Ms*** told me that she didn't appreciate the extra time that it took to shave her dog downI pointed out that we had discussed this before I started to work on her dog and that she had agreed to the required timeI apologized to Ms*** for how I had apparently come across to herMs*** then informed me that she was going to call attorneys and sue me for my poor customer serviceShe further told me that she would make my life *** and that I would be sorry for not making her happyI apologized again and explained that I was merely trying to explain the grooming process necessary for various types of cutsIt appeared that Ms*** was intent on making a scene (possibly for the purpose of getting the whole groom for free)After Ms*** left, another customer told us that they thought that Ms*** was way out of line and that she was sorry that we had to go through that
The Green Paw and Spa is a very reputable business that prides itself in our care and treatment of the pets that we get in our store as well as their ownersLast year we were awarded a Groomer of the Year award for our quality cuts and serviceGrooming and pet care are passions of mine and I am sorry that we were not able to satisfy this particular customerI would be willing to re-groom *** for Ms*** while she watched if she would like

My goodness, so many falsehoods to *** story
My objection had absolutely nothing to do with "extra time." The issue at hand was MsBlumers' hostility at my request for a style of groomingWhat she also neglects to tell you is that I had informed her son, the "manager," prior to the apptbut Ms*** is not acknowledging that fact
It's absolutely delusional to state that I said I would "call attorneys and sue.."No such thing happened
For Ms*** to insinuate that I informed her that I would make her "life ***" is absolutely offensiveI am a strong Christian and I would never, ever say such a thing
(A neighbor was with me while Ms*** badgered me and she will attest that the statements cited in her chronicle by Ms*** are absolutely untrue.)
I conveyed to Ms*** that I would never risk entering her store premises based on her hostility
It is ludicrous for her to now conveniently offer that I return to such an angry environment
Again, her behavior was witnessed by my companion who agrees that I should NOT expose myself to further intimidation
I WANT MY $refunded by US Mail!

As mentioned before, *** left our shop at 3/inch long all over, as requestedShe looked beautifulThe $that Ms*** paid was for that serviceShe never mentioned that she was unhappy with the groomShe did mention that she did not feel that I was friendly enough and I apologizedMs*** mentioned that her neighbor was there with herThis neighbor returned to the store and apologized for Ms*** behavior later that weekI initially left this vague in our response because I did not want to cause problems between the neighborsI feel a free groom is showing good faith in the quality and service that I offer to all my clientsIf Ms*** does not want me to do the groom, we have another groomer here with 27yrs experience that she can make an appointment with
