This customer has no clue about cracked tiles in the shower. My girl did actually fix them and told the person who rented the house that the tiles needed to be replaced. I only charged him $20 to repair the tiles that actually were repaired. I was told by the customer that he has no idea how to buy...

tiles. I would have replaced them for him but I do not buy tiles for customers. The labor was for the shower regrout and as a matter of fact is was near impossible to do this job because of the smell of cat urine that when I was there I could not stay in the house. Attached is a copy of the estimate and the work was done. There will be no more credits issued. We did the job as stated in the estimate that I attached.

The tiles are cracked. I have attached pictures of them. The worker did not fix them. The business DID NOT perform the job I paid them for. The reason I ask for money beyond $20 back is because I was charged more then $20 for labor. The business' response seems to indicate they are upset I did not purchase tiles, but Nancy did not indicate this would be a problem. In regards to the smell of cat urine, while the worker DID complain about that I went THE SAME DAY to inspect the condition of the house. While there was a mild cat odor, it was nowhere near so unpleasant that work could not be performed. I do not have a cat and I AM allergic, so for them to claim the smell was so bad as to prevent work is fallacious.  When Nancy and I originally discussed the repair, it would be $350 for tile repair and regrout of 1 shower, with an additional $100 to regrout a second shower. Half of the initial $350 would be $175. I reduced this to $150 in an attempt to be fair. Nancy has refunded $20 but the remaining $130 remains unrefunded for a repair she ACCEPTED MONEY FOR but did NOT do.

There is no labor to repair a tile and the $20 price was for $10 per tile which I already refunded. The repair did not work and the money was refunded. He does not understand that the only labor is $10 worth of caulking. Why would there be labor to repair a tile when it takes under 5 minutes. Any labor charges was from a regrout. I have finished the job that was on the estimate. He can call a handyman to replace his tiles but I refuse additional service to a nasty customer. Obviously he has no idea about repairs with water sitting on the floor of the shower.Tell us why here...

I was a little hesitate about hiring another contractor for some home improvements in my home because I have had two contractors in the last 2 years not do what I needed done. I needed some grout work in my kitchen and my master bath. I was referred to the Grout Magician by a friend who had an excellent experience with this company. I decided to give them a try. This was the best decision I ever made. The workmanship was out of this world. Genuinely honest and reliable company with a more than awesome outcome. Thank you Grout Magician and Nancy Melman.

The Grout Magician is awesome! Nancy, the owner came out for an estimate and was on time, professional, very friendly, personable, and hard working. She re-grouted my kitchen counters and a counter in one bathroom. I appreciated her honesty, prompt response, and thorough work. I highly recommend the Grout Magician and would hire them again without hesitation!

My estimate stated that the perimeter of my family room was 461 sq ft. In actuality the room measured 343 sq ft per our contractor who laid the tile. The estimate stated that the floor would be cleaned using a degreaser, the chipped grouted areas would be re-grouted, tiles that were different heights would be re-grouted, the grout would be stained, sealed, and that the perimeter of the room would be re-caulked. Her charge was $900, although she gave me a discount of $350 bringing the cost down to $550. If everything had been done, I felt the price would have been fair. That is not what happened. The 2 workers did not re-grout uneven tiles nor did they re-caulk the perimeter. The only perimeter that was re-caulked was 6 inches on either side of one corner of the room. I asked the owner, Nancy M[redacted] to readjust the price since everything was not done. She refused. I have no complaints about the staining work that was done, only the fact that I was charged for work that was NOT done. I was told a bottle of floor cleaner would be left for me. It wasn't. I waited 3 weeks then E-mailed her that I didn't receive it. She insisted it was left by my front door. I never received a call, e-mail, or text message that she had delivered the product. Her response to me was totally unprofessional. She said and I quote, " Did your mother ever tell you that you win more flies with honey than vinegar. You have no complaint about the work. You have nothing to complain about so really your venomous personality makes me say buy your own. You also have no more warranty. I am done with you. You might seek help." I guess she thought about her comments, because I received another E-mail from her stating that she was sending me a cleaner through Amazon. Her response to me was and I quote, "Here is your cleaner. For the life of me I do not understand your attitude. You wanted the job and signed the estimate. Why you are upset with me I have no idea. Please do not contact me any further." Yes, I signed the estimate. I paid her a down payment for services that were supposed to be done. The estimate says I have a 3 year warranty. Now she says she will not honor the warranty. When I complained about the charge for services not rendered and that I needed a readjustment in price her response was and I quote, "You obviously don't understand the price of supplies." She said her supplies cost $130. I went to Monterrey Tile where she gets her supplies and had them price them out. The total without tax was $55.80. I don't know where she came up with $130. And to top it off, I asked her for a receipt of my balance showing paid in full. She told me the estimate was my receipt and has refused to send me one. So... long story short BUYER BEWARE. My suggestion would be to find someone else to work with. This company does not do what they say they will do. The owner is rude and unprofessional.

Grout Magician saves the day. The workers came in on time. I can't praise them enough for how they do my kitchen and bathroom tiles professionally. I highly recommend their work to everyone.

My experience with Grout Magic and the owner Nancy was very poor. My wife initially agreed to her proposal but after careful review the solution was very poor, analogous to a Painter painting your walls and painting around the furniture. I tried to speak with Nancy but could not get past her yelling. I did lose $320.00 which she said she would not refund but that's a savings compared to the damage she could have done.

I would encourage anyone looking to have grout work done to look for a qualified company with a solid rating. I'm not certain why this company doesn't have a rating but "Caveat emptor".

I don't know why anyone would give The Grout Magician a negative review. [redacted] and team are very professional. Their workmanship is nothing but meticulous. We were more than satisfied and will not hesitate to use them again in the future. I applaud this business and will recommend to anyone and everyone needing grout work!!

Recently I had work done at my home by a company named Grout Magician. The representative was excellent in her presentation, the estimate was fair and the work was completed in a timely manner. I could not be more pleased with the results. I would recommend them to any and all. [redacted] .
