Review: The company that owns The Grove at Indiana, Campus Crest, may not nullify my lease. They want to lock me in and force me to pay for another year or find someone to take over my lease who will ask why I am moving out and once I tell them they will never want to live at the complex, not just my apartment. For 5 weeks going on 6 now I have been unable I have been unable to breathe clean air. It has been musty and mildew and overpowering. The cause of this is two seperate leaks. Which has taken the management 5 weeks to wven see about fixing correctly. They tried before but spraying a damp carpet and letting me stay in an apartment that causes me to wake up with headaches and congestion is not alright. In addition to the leaks I found cockroaches which they sprayed for and are taking action with the rest of my building. However, the establishment here has only given me more reason to leave. Also I have been financial railroaded with utilities. I had a roommate in my last apartment, which also had unbreathable air, mold and mildew, and it took them two weeks to even to taken action in the interest of my health. When with a roommate I never had utility over 300. I am alone in this mew apartment and had a 300 utility because my ac/heater was not functioning properly for a time and also because of a hole in the other room's ceiling. Management was aware of health risk from both leaks and the hole which allowed spiders and other insects to run amok. It also caused my apartment to inefficiently heat/cool and ac/heat to work overtime resulting in financial loss. I want out of this place. They also just lpved me into the only bedroom not affected by leaks in the same aparent but the damage has been done.Desired Settlement: I wish to have my 2015-2016 lease nullified and my rent for July of 2016 refunded and a month of rent for the 5 weeks I spent sleeping on my couch. I also wish to be refunded utility costs for that were unjustly imposed upon me because my unit was not properly repaired and I was not notified of the hole in the ceiling.
