Review: 7-1-16 ordered 1 gun. They charged me twice.

7-2-16 notified them of double billing and they cancelled 1 with no explanation or apology.

7-14-16 emailed the When will I receive the gun? My card was charged 11 days ago. No response.

7-19-16 I contacted them through their website at about 6:30 to see where was my gun. Never got an answer.

7-19-16 called them 3 times and they didn’t answer phone. At about 10:00 my time I left the message that need they need to call me by the end of day or I will file a claim with [redacted] and the Revdex.com.

7-20-16 No response.Desired Settlement: Give a negative rating for future buyers

Review: On 9-12-13 I paid for six AR15 80% lower receivers and one jig to complete the lowers. At that time the merchant stated it would take 4-6 weeks to complete the milling and ship the product. He also stated that he would update the progress on his facebook page. There have been very few updates, which are mostly apologies for delays and empty promises to do better. My attempts to contact him through his website, two separate email addresses, phone calls, as well as wall posts and private messages on the facebook page have all been ignored. Others have also made these attempts without success. My attempts started on 10-28-13.I asked for a refund of of the charges on 12-3-13, and have not heard back on this request. I believe this business suffers from very poor management at best, and at worst is nothing more than a scam.Desired Settlement: Credit to be applied to my credit card in the amount of $235

Review: The Gun Vault LLC. (TGV), asked for investors to fund their project to begin production of firearms related materials through [redacted], a crowd source website. Many people funded this project to 160% of the asked funds to begin their production. After well over two year, zero progress has been made, and they have removed contact with the outside world. I invested $240 dollars.Desired Settlement: Either the product shipped or a full refund

Review: The Gun Vault LLC. (TGV), asked for investors to fund their project to begin production of firearms related materials through [redacted], a crowd source website. Many people funded this project to 160% of the asked funds to begin their production. After well over a year, zero progress has been made, and they have removed contact with the outside world.Desired Settlement: I request a full refund of the $535 I invested in this company. This is the only acceptable alternative. If this is not able to be completed, then a class action lawsuit will be the next alternative.

Review: Paid $119.60 on 09/21/13 Told product would ship 11/15/13 After failure to ship, was given excuses, called and promised refund, no refund. All communication ceased, messages/calls ignored. Possible fraud/ theft involving multiple clients as seen on his Facebook page. He has multiple thousands of others money, complete noncompliance.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I have been issued a refund after complaint was filed. My opinion stays the same as no one should have to go through the lengths I have in order to be made whole.

Review: Paid $480 on 09/09/13 and $425 on 09/13/13 for product that was advertised as "manufacturing will begin 2 weeks later. Items will begin to ship within 4-6 weeks." I was patient with the delay in shipment and gave the manufacturer additional time to ship out the order. Continual delays and excuses in November 2013, even though manufacturer said that my order would ship out by mid-November. Mid-November mark missed, and then into December. Manufacturer promised via text message on December 11, 2013 that my order would ship out "Half on monday other half tuesday I will text tracking numbers each night 2 what address u want them sent." Messaged the manufacturer again on December 14, 2013 to verify that my order would be shipping out on Monday and Tuesday (December 16 & 17) as promised, to which he replied "Yup". I did not receive the tracking numbers as promised and the manufacturer did not answer my messages as to why the order did not ship as promised. Upon calling his listed company phone number on December 18, 2013, his voice mailbox was full and was not taking any messages. The manufacturer contacted me later that day to explain that our order was ready to be shipped out, but because of an ongoing Revdex.com investigation, he was not permitted to ship out orders. This claim raised serious suspicions on whether or not there really was any product that was ready to ship out. Later that evening, the manufacturer sent an update on Facebook, that he was having programming issues with one of his machines. This is different to the excuse that was made during the phone call. December 18, 2013 was the last time I heard anything from the manufacturer for 21 days. My financial institution has advised me file a complaint with the Revdex.com and to have legal council involved. I was able to get a response from the manufacturer on Facebook when I asked for a refund on January 9, 2014, his response was that he was not considering issuing refunds. On a status update entitled "reality check" posted by the manufacturer on Facebook on January 9, 2014, the manufacturer stated that "We do not have the funds to issue refunds. I am sorry to say, but we can not process those requests at this time. What we have decided is this: When we get in production, and are clearing out orders/gifts, as your gift comes up, we will put it up for sale, and process refunds as the receivers are sold." The manufacturer also stated "Now, we have gotten almost everything in the works to produce a properly cast lower, re-tempered to T6, and as free from defects as possible." while the product that was advertised and I purchased was "7075 billet aluminum", not a casting with possible defects. His methods of smelting scrap aluminum and casting them into new product was disclosed, either written or implied when I placed my order. I consider this false advertising, and so do many other customers now requesting a refund from this manufacturer. As of January 10, 2014, the manufacture does not want to give an estimated ship time, and being over two months late, I would just like my money back.Desired Settlement: I want a refund on both purchases made, a total of $905.00.

Response:

Mr [redacted] has failed to mention that he participated in a RocketHub funding campaign, and as such has not directly paid The Gun Vault LLC. His payment was made to RocketHub, and is a donation to a project to begin manufacturing. We request that you remove this complaint. ~The Gun Vault LLC

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Although many customers, including myself, did pay funds through a misrepresented RocketHub campaign, the basis of my purchase was the claim that "For a pledge of $425 or more you will receive 16- 7075 80% billet aluminum lower." and that I would receive said product "As soon as the campaign is over, manufacturing will begin 2 weeks later. Items will begin to ship within 4-6 weeks. First come- first serve." We're now over 4 months since this campaign has been over and the company is not making nor shipping out the product that people have purchased. It has also been announced by the business that they will be smelting scrap aluminum to make their products, information and processes that were not disclosed to customers prior to funding this campaign. Several customers have spoken up with concerns regarding porosity and quality issues with this product. The business owner has decided to delete their comments and ban these customers from his company Facebook page. This is causing major concerns for others who also are skeptical about the purchase they made and the product they have yet to receive. Two months ago, the business owner claimed that our order was complete and ready to ship out, but then changed his story to that he could not ship out our order since he was under investigation from the Revdex.com. This excuse is completely false, as the Revdex.com has no authority prevent a company from making or shipping goods. At this point, I cannot trust any claims or promises made by this business and I simply want a refund of my money. If the business cannot refund my money, I consider that a major cause for alarm. Hiding behind the the claim that people funded through a RocketHub campaign and they just have to deal with it is unacceptable to me.

Response:

In regards to the RocketHub legal notice that you provided, RocketHub has changed that document several time since the project began and finished. We are still in the process of completing the manufacturing process. We are still planning on fulfilling all of our receiver offers, though we greatly under estimated our timetable. We have never mentioned any complaints we have received through the Revdex.com to Mr. [redacted]. As he acknowledged in his initial communication, we have already included our policy on refunds. Ultimately, we do not have the funds to issue refunds at this time. We have added him to the refund list, and as soon as funds are available, we will refund his money. As far as our process goes, we were unaware at the outset of the project that there was a difference in the term "Billet" and "cast" and more importantly, the perceived difference. We have researched the issue, and now are fully aware of the difference. Thus, we have offered refunds, as per the aforementioned policy. Now, everyone that funded the project is aware of our process, and while a few have asked for refunds, most funders are more than willing to patiently wait for our product to be complete. Our final offer, and the only thing we have available to offer is that Mr [redacted] can either wait for his refund or wait for his product. At this point, we have added him to the list of refund requests, and as soon as our product is complete and his portion is sold, we will issue his refund.

Response:

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We did not provide a RocketHub legal notice, simply what is advertised on the campaign page which is still visible[redacted]. I completely understand that the business greatly underestimated their timetable. Your claim that you "have never mentioned any complaints we have received through the Revdex.com to Mr. [redacted]" is a complete bold faced lie that I personally find offensive. [redacted] told me on the phone that the Revdex.com was investigating him and for that reason he was not able to ship out our order that was already completed. At that time people were posting links to the Revdex.com on his Facebook page to file complaints. Those have since been removed by the Page admin. I understand that you have underestimated the work ahead of you, but do not accuse me of making up conversations. I know what was said and when it was said. I also understand that you probably do not have the funds to issue any refunds at this time, which is concerning. I would assume that most funders who have a $25 to $100 investment in this ordeal may be patient to wait it out. But we're talking $905 of my money tied up here. I do not want the product, but a speedy refund. I have serious concerns about when I can expect to receive my full refund if I need to wait for him to sell my portion. I will promptly withdraw this complaint as soon as our full refund is received.

Review: Ordered from this company on a third party site. This transaction was paid in full, and in return was to get 2 products. The Gunvault started up a web business and also [redacted] page. Then in the middle, stopped all communication and did not come through with promised goods. From my understanding many people did not receive the goods they paid for.Desired Settlement: I would like my moneys returned to me. $100.00 no checks please. Will take a debit card, "Visa Gold pre-paid" for the full amount.
